My tip is always make it where you can do a 720 if you move your mouse from the far left to the far right of the mouse pad. So 2 full spins without needing to pick up the mouse

I'm curious, is it slower to run diagnoally than in a straight line? Is holding W faster than holding W+A or W+D? I always assumed it's the same speed but would love clarification, obv stuttering left and right mid chase is stupid but what about just the diagonal straight line run?

The direction of your input doesn’t change movement speed by itself. The only thing that slows your speed is sharp turns. Diagonal is just amazing for camera placement❤️

One tip I have is that if you run Fixated, you can tap your sprint key just a few milliseconds before hitting the vault and it will be fast since there doesn't have to be as much acceleration.

Oh my God, THANK YOU! This game not only has horrible tutorials, it just feels confusing as all hell sometimes and just refuses to cooperate. Now that i know why i fail to fast vault, i can get better at survivor. As a killer main, ive truly come to respect, understand, and appreciate the skill it actually takes to be a survivor

Mostly preference. But for that dpi prolly 30-40%. Adjust it til it feels good.

probably one of the best tutorial videos i have ever watched. it's very short, informative, understandable, well-explained and you've got a good voice for it. for some reason i still don't get the fast vault many times even though all the criteria was met in all the years i have played dbd.

I suppose balanced is more optimal when you bring a map offering for maps that have many drop downs, like Lampkin Lane or The Game. I don’t like lithe more than sprint burst but some people do and it does have it’s uses.

This is so true and genuinley more compled than it seems. As a killer its so annoying when a survivor gains a few metres on you so if you finstsntly do that the killer will keep taking more and more loops to catch you Eg if you vault try to vault ina direction that adds a few metres distance and that automatically gives you a few more seconds to survive and resch another loop etc rwther than vault just to escape

How do i stop getting hit when i vault and then start walking away and still get hit thru the window?

During the medium vault animation, your character finishes the animation closer to the window. So even a step after the vault is still close enough to get hit. For a fast vault, however, the very end of the animation SHOULD be far enough away to not get hit. This doesn’t account for lag. On your screen, the game looks like you’re done vaulting and far enough away. but if your connection is bad, your computer would have taken more time to tell the server that you have vaulted, so the server won’t think you’re as far as you computer thinks. And ultimately what the server sees SHOULD override what your computer shows you, if you’re connection is worse. And… if the game is coded correctly lol

that wall hugging for sure works on coldwind but for example on arie of crows u have that little junk on the walls sometimes where u get stucked - u know this for sure but that hugging dpends on map and tile ... just wanted to say this
