I would so love to try and grow some purple sweet potatoes next summer do you think you could send me a few small ones or some slips maybe a dozen so i can try them in arkansas i cant grow in ground because our ground is clay but have raised beds only been getting the grocery store type which is the orange been trying to grow my own potatoes been using kennebec russett and some reds i got from grocery store because they had formed eyes i got 15 lbs of reds still have kennebec and russets in grounds but my sweet potatoes are going strong they got vines running out of raised bed all over ground

Hi! Thanks for the video! Just picked up one of these from an old vineyard here in Suisun City. In the video description you say not to use gasoline as fuel but I’m confused because isn’t that gas you are pouring in? It sounds like you said gas. Just wondering how to do this without causing issues 😂

Gasoline can be used to start them quickly. About 1/2 or one cup of gasoline. The main fuel(majority of the liquid) should be diesel, kerosene or oil, like vegetable or used motor oil.
