When I was young I played that game with a friend. We always did go 4 archers, I remember we killed most just in range fight. Was op but not sure if it was the way to go^^

ok after watching this video now, i start with 4Sorc Group to have the "easiest" time when playing relaxed through the game? :D Also wondering if there is any "guide" how to skill the 50 early Bonus Points on a 4S Group and what skills to use on them

Originally torch light was a mandatory spell, because on old monitors if you tried to play dungeons during daylight you couldn't see shit without it.

Only archers and elves shoot arrows so shield works only vs them... What about medusas? They seem to have bows too. And goblins? They don't launch arrows,but it still looks like a physical projectile.

You're right I forgot Medusas and Goblins for some reason. It's less useful for goblins since you'll probably be fighting them before getting Expert Air Magic, but having it for medusas could be useful since you fight them in the Red Dwarf Mines (and Eeefol though you would have Day of the Gods in Light Path). Since it can have niche uses I modified the description to make it C Tier.

Bows have one unique and funny usage. You face a crowd of enemies and start walking backwards while pressing the A key. They get occasionally hit for some damage, which stops them for a while, meaning they never actually get close to you.

Somehow nobody have no clue about learning except "more xp is good", even pro speedrunners. Which is amazing. It's the most skippable skill.

Farming XP is really easy in MM6 for example Energy Drakes in Kriegspire, Armogeddoning areas. Having learning nets a lot of levels just from this alone.

@@Fixxxxxer With farming or not, the math is always the same, about +10% of levels for the cost of some skillpoints. Some single spells are better than this skill. Learning is the lowest possible tier. Gameplay with learning and without it is the same, noboby would see the difference. I saw a bunch of your videos recently and i agree with everything, including your thoughts about learning skill. This is why your A grade look so weird.

Fool. Acid Burst works on immune to magic creatures and you do not mention it and put it in B tier.

every year i play through it. Never finish of course - im really good at getting most of the quests done and just starting over before the blaster parts. Pretty fun if you take your time. Methodical building up. When you know you are ready for the dwarf mines and the undead places. Feels good

This is a super fun to watch run. Lots of different things I didn't know about M&M7 that makes me want to replay it. Certainly glad I'm not the only one that immediately does the faerie mound quests at the start lol. Also, good Shampoo avatar, I'm a huge fan of her too.

No cleric wasn't that bad. For 7 The thief run was the hardest to do, but that was because I didn't get blaster from Tolberti. I did a Top 5 Hardest Challenge Runs video if you want to see what my hardest runs were.

I also forgot to mention that Archer would be the hardest solo run overall, or at least the most tedious. Titans stronghold is too powerful, so I think farming an invis scroll is required, which is why I'm not gonna do it. But then after promotion it just becomes solo druid/sorcerer so pretty easy.

The one thing holding back Minotaurs is the lack of GM Armsmaster. They are already at a disadvantage since they can't wear helmets and boots and their overall skill-ceiling is lacking. With GM Armsmaster, they would occupy a sweet spot between the tankiness of a Troll and the damage of a Knight. This even turns axes into viable weapons (preferable two-handed ones),. .... but maybe GM armsmaster is just an absurd skill that's way too strong.

Knight is junk end of story. Archer's is superior to all of them in term of useful abilities. Reason? Chain armor.

No major gliches and in the first 30 seconds he uses the cheat teleport, abuses the stop mechanic to loot high lvl chests while evading trap dmg and instantly breaks the game. GG retarded Video. He even resets after getting bad loot.

use Turn Undead: Costs 4 spell points. Causes all visible undead creatures to flee for the duration of the spell. so ghosts can't hit you

In the beginning when the tutorial NPC wasn’t there if you hit 5 I believe that brings her up. In case it ever happens again.

Mass distortion works the way it's described, and I think it's better than you gave it credit for. It can be resisted and produces low damage when that happens, so that's why it can do variable damage. It certainly sucks when that happens, but the damage potential makes up for the occasional failures. I always try to use it when a high HP enemy is near or at full health. Starts becoming useful early-mid game against Veterans/Captains doing ~100 dmg per hit. I hit Longfang for close to 300 dmg with it in my most recent playthrough. It's very good against the knights in the Warlord's Fortress. Have hit a Cuisinart for 400+ dmg with it, although they can resist it fairly reliably too. IMO it's an A-tier spell. Isn't viable early game due to its cost, but becomes a boss killer option mid-game and remains useful up until you get blasters.

Mass distortion is mainly held back by its high SP cost, high damage range, and many late game monsters being immune to it. Shrapmetal far outpaces it in damage, and Fire Blast does more consistently better DPS and is more SP-cost effective. It's an OK spell but unless you're doing an Earth-only challenge run or something similar, there's little reason to use it as your main source of damage, especially when you have to boost skill points in a mediocre spell school to get its full effectiveness.

@@Fixxxxxer Agreed on shrapmetal being a better option in most cases, although there are times when you can't get in close to make best use of it. Same with Fireblast, although I find it to be substantially weaker than shrap. Sometimes I just want a good ranged option. Maybe different playstyles? I mainly do the fights from TB mode, so guessing that's it.
