Only the Broads has never been granted National Park status. Refer to Hansard, the official record of Parliamentary business, search for the Broads National Park Bill & all will be revealed. It is a delusional title adopted by the Broads Authority, it has no formal legislation to support it. Despite what the Authority and its associates might claim the Broads National Park is a non-existent location without boundaries or Parliamentary recognition.

As a committed conservationist - and life member of NT, RSPB, Woodland Trust, WWT and my local WT - I would prefer to get our Electricity from Nuclear Power plants rather than watch 10,000s of birds every year in UK get chopped to bits by modern Wind Mills. The area around a nuclear plant is exceptionally good for wildlife as humans are kept well away.
