Neat video, Maria! 😊 I'm currently using a homemade moss pole for one of my Monstera deliciosa, and a Grow Vertical moss pole with my Monstera albo because I needed a pole that's aesthetically pleasing AND can be easily adjusted when i need to add another extension and/or chop and prop the plant. Will you make a follow-up video months later of the trio for the audience to see how the plants grew on them over time and whether they held up well?

I have 3 versions - each the same of their 36 plant size all with the full lighting system. I am also an aquarium guy and saw right away they provided a very cheap aquarium - which of course failed rather quickly. Then various lights stop working. Currently yet another light only partially failed - as the light works but the lead to the next light has failed. No visible damage on anything. Just yet another failure. Here’s what everyone need to know: YOU CANNOT CALL THEM FOR WARRANTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you email them with questions about how to setup or use they will reply. If you have a common QC issue….good luck!

Ok so I'm from India and I'm into growing peanuts in my balcony. So I use a 50% soi,l 20% cocopeat and remaining vermi compost or organic compost. So I use used water cans about 10 litre. I make holes on sides for aeration and even at the bottom and the curved bottom part for efficient drainage. I also cover the holes only with few stones

A real problem for your Prayer Plant is that when the leaves curl, it can no longer photosynthesize. I've had mine in my bathroom, no windows, but a skylight for many years. Recently I stuck a decoration down into the soil which snapped off roots of a stem. When I looked at it, I said "What the..." and then realized what I did. Water was not getting to this stem and so its leaves curled badly. Like a pencil! So I transplanted it into a smaller pot with fresh, watered soil. Let it sit there for a couple days, but nothing happened. So I got the idea that perhaps the leaves could use some help to photosynthesize and also to help the water rehydrate through the veins. So I took some clear packing tape 2" wide and roughly cut them to the shape of each leaf. I stuck them to the BACK of the leaf and rolled the leaves out onto the tape. They looked wonderful, but I wasn't sure if it would work. Put them back in the skylight room and waited a week. The tape easily came off and THE LEAVES WERE FLAT and turgid! As of today it looks like they were never sick.

One of the best videos for beginners with Alocasias I've seen. Can't 100% agree with everything, but... The light, the best watering technique and the humidity are always more than one way to deal with. I have more then 30 Alocasias in different potting medias. In different soil mixes in leca in coco based substrate in moss in aquarium stratum.... In terracotta and in plastic pots. The combo of terracotta and peat based soil mix is what they love, but not for seedlings. Never tried pon and self watering pots. Use for all of them growlight all seasons. Humidity is ambient 40-50%

Hey, I've just found your channel. I'm in the UK! Wonderful!! Your presentation and content is excellent and your views/subscribers don't reflect where you should be! I don't know how to boost your views but you deserve a huge following. Never give up! You are nailing it. Random thought but would gifting some plants to influencers or popular KZbinrs with plantcare advice boost you. Someone like the lovely Poala Merril. The cottage fairy. 1.5 million subscribers. Just a thought. Best wishes from the UK. 😊

This happened to me with my red veined prayer. Waited weeks for it to recover from a repotting. Thought I’d throw her away she was so far gone. Ended up cutting the leaf nodes back and placing directly in filtered water only. Every limp & tightly curled leaf was unfurled the next day & roots formed in as little as 3 days. Placed them in a homemade soil blend and hopefully she starts to take off again.
