Yes, but that’s the case with most digital products. It’s a risk you take when you sell digital products.

I use a microphone but I’ve had a couple of comments recently so I think I may need to start researching to find a better one.

The stat for e-commerce as a whole in 2023 is 1.64% obviously there is a lot of variation. Some people have 0% conversion rate if they don’t have their product right and some will have way higher if they have a product that really gives their audience what they need or want. It’s just a good guideline because it can be easy to think your product is bad when in reality not enough people have seen it yet for you to draw that conclusion. One 100 people have seen your product, if no-one has bought it then you may want to revisit the product by looking at your messaging and positioning.

@@amyhardie Does it matter when the product was released when you start using the conversation rate as a base line? Example, its only been a week, does this baseline hold less weight since the product was just released?

No, I think if a lot of people have seen the product in the first week then you can draw a conclusion pretty quickly and react quickly@@spanishblueprints

This is the case with most things. Even if you use an expensive course platform if someone really wants to steal your content, they will find a way. I’m of the opinion that these things could happen but it’s not going to stop me from offering solutions.

I don't think they need to be in your niche. If you have bought any kind of digital product before you can review that. Think about why you bought it. What you like and what you don't like. If you haven't bought any then yes, I would buy a few just to see what the process is like from a user perspective. Being a user of digital products is a great way to make your own products better because it's easier to judge a product you are detached from. I've actually just launched a product on this because I think it's an often overlooked way of developing your own products. Thanks for the feedback. I was using a wireless mic for a couple of weeks and the sound kept dropping out. I tried to fix it in editing but I don't think I got it all. I've gone back to my old wire mic as it works better.

You are welcome. Positioning within the market and ideal customer both make a huge difference in what you can price and as a result if you are likely to make $100 a day.
