Hello, ist it possible to make four 3 month visas outside of Vietnam to cover 1 year? So I can leave by myself and one back immediately? Thank you for your answer

I would love to know how you managed to get up higher for the Cathedral in Limoges. I now live in the area and I would be so happy if I could take some fabulous images from higher up. BTW, have you been in the area since you vlogged this episode? They have done some stunning renovations to the Cathedral and the columns are now restored and painted. Loved watching this, it gave me some good ideas for shooting in the area.

Enjoyed your video on a couple of Hanoi's suburbs. Were you able to get the contact information for your guide or her local agent as someone requested earlier? I'd also appreciate knowing the location of the soy bean/sticky rice terracotta jars. Thankyou

So UK citizens can turn up and get 45 days visa free entry?

Did you take your own drone into Vietnam? I read a couple of years ago that customs were confiscating drones from people, especially in Da Nang.

I've searched this because I will travel to Europe next week and I will be visiting big churhes. These are amazing tips, thanks for the video. Yet, I don't think I will be able to use my tripod and there will probably be a lot of people.

I shoot real estate and have been looking for something that will make my work flow much quicker. I have been using the Ulanzi F38 quick release plates on my tripod and gimbal, and that has been excellent and I would prefer to maintain these when upgrading. What tripod would you recommend? I've seen so many overpriced tripods, I'm just looking for something stout that's not terribly expensive.

It depends on your service provider. If you use Grab taxi and Grab food delivery then you’ll need them.

Hi @JulianElliottPhotography , I'm planning going to Vietnam on Nov. In my country, if for grabfood the rider will call using grab apps. I think the call made is not using normal phone call. It's more like WhatsApp call. Not sure if I'm right.

I have a Vietnam visa that starts on 12/14. But my plane arrives 14 hours earlier. What problems can I expect?
@JulianElliottPhotography Жыл бұрын
If you arrive before the start date of your visa then you’ll have to get another one. So if your visa starts on 14 December but you arrive on 13 December then you’ll have problems.

@@JulianElliottPhotography Great 😃 So no need to do an evisa before hand? We can rock up to immigration in the airport and get visa on arrival?
@JulianElliottPhotography Жыл бұрын
@@Markylenn87 indeed. I've had 3 e-visas this year but not for the current trip. Upon arrival I checked with the officer stamping me in and he confirmed 45 days 😄they didn't ask for my return ticket or accommodation details etc but I'd carry a copy just in case. If you also look on the UK here you'll see: www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/vietnam/entry-requirements

@@JulianElliottPhotography Perfect thanks for that, saves a lot of hassle. I read some blogs which made it sound like a complicated process. I will be coming in from Laos, i assume should still be the same process and its just about which passport you have and not which country you are entering from?

Lovely gesture Julian for you to go to the children's school and take the time to give something back to the kids, some lovely shots. I particularly like the one of the group of kids' having lunch, you captured the moment there spot on, you don't need any words to see how much the kids mean to her. Chappau. ps, i was looking at your vids of the Dolomites for info, slightly different scenery from Snowdonia and Anglesey, on the list to visit.
@JulianElliottPhotography Жыл бұрын
Hi Owen. It is an eye opener going to see the children. You realize just how lucky you are. And the Dolomites are definitely different to Snowdonia. Just come back from another photo tour.

Absolutely. A camera is a camera. People get very hung up on the brands. Sony is better than Canon and whatever else. It’s a tool and if you know how to use it then good images await.

Hi there. It definitely doesn’t snow constantly in the winter. Your more likely to see snow on the high ground but lower down is a different story.
