I would love to know how you managed to get up higher for the Cathedral in Limoges. I now live in the area and I would be so happy if I could take some fabulous images from higher up. BTW, have you been in the area since you vlogged this episode? They have done some stunning renovations to the Cathedral and the columns are now restored and painted. Loved watching this, it gave me some good ideas for shooting in the area.

I have been using the Ulanzi F38 quick release plates on my tripod and gimbal, and that has been excellent and I would prefer to maintain these when upgrading. What tripod would you recommend? I've seen so many overpriced tripods, I'm just looking for something stout that's not terribly expensive.
