Just got a 2015 r spec with 60k miles for 9 grand. I think I did very well and I took it to the factory dealership and they say there is nothing wrong with the car.

Only the 3.8 has enough power to even bother also must be manual. My only issue is zero of these in my local junkyards so almost zero parts

There are TONS of parts on ebay and online junk yards. Seems you are too lazy to find that out. You are NOT limited to your local area.

I’ve owned a 2010 is the past and got it from Chicago and man I had to fix it and then eventually timing jumped. It was already tuned and straight piped too but I don’t know if the 2 guys did it right or put the proper mods before tuning it for a pop and bang tune.

To be honest mine has been really reliable. From what I know it seems they all are as long as your doing your basic car maintenance

How many of you Yahoo's know what the whole burnt tip exhaust is about? Originally, it was meant to look like titanium exhaust systems. Having actually been a real road racer, We had titanium exhaust systems on our race bikes for weight reduction. When they got hot, they would turn blue and gold like you see these phonea tips.

The only reason they put back seats in the Genesis was to get it out of the sports car class and into the coupe class for both insurance and regulatory reasons.

You should pull a car history. Sounds like your car was probably wrecked or was never maintained and at minimum had substantial repairs and repainted at one point. I have had mine for almost 12 years with no issues. I had the trunk leak but replaced the taillight gaskets and keep the sunroof drains cleared.

Hyundai only built around 123,000 over the 8yrs. I have a 2013 3.8 Grand Touring. I purchased it new in 3/13. After 11 1/2 years and 62,000 miles other than routine maintenance I have had zero issues. It was my daily for 8 years. Now it’s just for weekends at the local cars and coffee. If they are maintained and not beaten on they are excellent and reliable cars. The speakers are actually really good for a system. I suspect that whomever had it before you did not take care of it. The Gen coupes are quickly disappearing. I recommend the 3.8 if you can find one that has not been abused or has a salvage title.

There are currently only 28k of these on the road in the US. There were only 40k made for the US market overall. A little less than that for the KDM. Where do you get your numbers. I got mine from Hyundai.

Wow wonderful video. Your KZbin channel has subscribers but correspondingly less video views. Because your video doesn't have SEO friendly title, description and tag optimization. If you do SEO on your videos, your videos will rank on KZbin and views and subscribers will increase. Your video quality is good but you do not get more views because of this SEO problem. I'm sorry, but why would you make a video about buying a 10 year old car? I'm assuming a 10 year old car would have at least 100K miles on it and with other options in this class, I just don't see the point. I have a 2016 Genny Coupe 3.8 and love it but I wouldn't even consider buying a 10 year old Coupe. Just sayin.
