I have been really enjoying these videos of Qud! I would suggest doing original Dwarf fortress, rogue, Ultima, or any of the old RPG games.

This is precisely how I wanted to enjoy Caves of Qud. The world is mesmerising, but I do not find the gameplay loop interesting. You have given me a great gift. Live and Drink, friend.

It does have quite the learning curve, but I think it's an excellent one to play and learn slowly! It's even great on Steam Deck!
