mine doesn't have the flexibility to lean back without resistance like in ur video. My seat is made of leather so not sure it they reworked how much force it takes to lean the chair back for the leather models. It's just too much force, to the point of it might as well be a normal chair. Weird thing is the one I tried at the store itself could lean back like yours. But the seat fabric was like yours as well

I really like the human side of how we ACTUALLY use chairs. Was confused between Markus and Järvfjället as i have used Markus for 2.5 years and felt it was really comfortable for me since i am 6'3 . This weekend I'll check both of these in IKEA. I'll be inclined towards choosing this though.

I've had them for 5+ years now. The "leather" on the headband and the ear pads cracked. I bought a neoprene sleeve for the headband (5€?) and replacement ear pads (10ish€?), and now they're as good as new, if not better. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Worth noting that I'm very careful with my gear, but I did use it on the regular and it holds up well. Mostly at home tho, and on my PC.

@@Haunter-pl3zt the net of the back will hold for a month and then stretch (I'm the lightest person in the world). It's not good for long sitting, the lower back support just pushes, not supports. It's more shaky and loose than a 10$ chair and every week you need to tighten the "screws"

My net has held its shape. Makes you wonder about quality control. ;/ I agree that the back support is not comfortable and just digs into your lower back. I've set it to lowest it can go and it mostly gets out of the way. But yeah, not comfy. I believe you could also not install it if it bothers you. I had issues with the back screws as well, but have since tightened them like a bridge bolt, and they've held up since.

I've been trying to find a good and affordable chair for years now. Tried a few gaming chairs and decided they're not for me (mainly due to the headrest, they always seem to push my neck forward, and the back only feels 100% comfortable if I'm slightly tilted backward). I'm finally selling my latest gaming chair and ordered this one from IKEA, even after seeing a few bad reviews. I must say, you put me at ease! I was worried about the headrest and the seat depth. I'm 1,76m and not all chairs feel comfortable height/leg-wise. Thanks for a great video!

Hi, thanks for this in depth comparaison. Due to thé Price différence, I bought the Sigma. To me its major limitation IS for video : not having the "linear" MF mode IS a Real contraint when I film from A to B at f 1,4 Since I can't refer to a given rotation angle to get narrow focus. I Can add that I have a GH5-M2. With the latest Firmware version, Sigma 16mm f1.4 IS STILL only capable of NON LINEAR MF. So now, I'm thinking of selling my set of wide angle lenses and to replace them With the Pana 10-25...
@Lenard_S.
@Lenard_S. Жыл бұрын
Ahh, shucks. I would've guessed the linear focus feature worked with ALL lenses. Too bad. 10-25 sounds like a great option. I decided against it because of the price, size, and - it's only one lens. For the price of it, I can get 17, 25, 45 Olympus lenses and put them on three different cameras. I am missing a wide, however...

I'm actually JUST working on a new video, about the replacement pads. They held up incredibly well! After 4.5 years of (I wouldn't say heavy, but regular) use they only recently started to flake and crumble on the ear pads and the headband. The leather (don't know if it's real or fake) cracked, and then started falling off. I am very careful with my stuff, but I didn't spare them. Mostly used them at home tho, on my PC. So I bought a 4 euro neoprene sleeve for the headband, some replacement pads (velour pads for 4 euros, and thick leather pads for 12 euros) - and they feel brand new. Besides some dust build-up in a few crevices, really, no signs of use to speak of. Highly recommend them, in terms of build quality.
