This terrain looks familiar. Are you here in Utah? I bought a high top 96 Ford recently. Can you tell me where I might go to get solar so that I'll have wifi this summer out on the road? Ate there places that install? I don't want to get ripped off that's why I ask the question. thanks in advance.
@nomadlandsurveyor7 жыл бұрын
Hi Olivia! This was shot in San Lorenzo canyon in south-central New Mexico. Very similar terrain than I've seen in Utah;) I have always done my own installation of the solar equipment, but I would suggest buying equipment online for a much better price than a typical solar store and asking around for help to install. Heck, I might even be able to help! Congrats on the van!

Haha! Nice! Good to see you have a channel. I've subbed. Ramble on! 👍🏼✌🏼

😂👍🏼 We are going to camp out at the city of rocks this year, have you been there? I hadn't heard of Faywood, is the hot springs outdoors?
@nomadlandsurveyor8 жыл бұрын
Yes, City of Rocks is great, very interesting place. Faywood is actually only a few miles away and there is very reasonably priced camping there with many outdoor hot spring pools. I highly recommend Faywood if you are in the area;)

Love the rocks you have quite the eye for them. You really do keep on rocking in the free world. Ever in the South would like to see you here. IDK if you like Mardi Gras I don't but if you go to small towns and remember where you are you can have a good time.

I am going to formulate a camper that has solar and fridge I have no plans to go out West like that again. I end up out there wandering around that will be good but to drive there 1500 miles in 24 hours not going to happen if I can help it. Good to know If I need to do those things I still got it? It is nice there to be sure it has been raining since Dallas. I will be getting better at the guitar plan to practice a little every day. I love my grid tied life I might live in an old trailer but that power line,tv cable, and water/sewer line is what counts. Dave I am 2 miles away from a Walmart neighborhood market less than 20 from a Sams club. I have a Cabelas less than 10 miles away and a Bass Pro shop less than 20 also have tanger outlet mall down the road. I can be at an LSU game in 30 minutes or Bourbon Street most nights 45 minutes. I ever need the specialists there is a cancer center,cardiology center, neurology hospital, all 30 minutes away. I know where I live I got it made. My daughter was sick this week she was rushed for emergency surgery appendix then she needs to rehab so I will be taking her to the PLFT gym which is an easy 15 minutes from my home. I don't feel the stress of most folks because I stay home all the time I need to make it look a lot better here but other than that I have all I need here most the time. I need to get the solar and fridge for my camper so I can escape the storm that happen around here but other than that goo place to live as long as you have AC. Oh I opened that package for the stones and the glue still works you don't need to hot glue them on just press them all back down and slide them in a paper sleeve that is see through. I wish I bought 20 of them I know I can sell them here for $5 each easy.

Aww thanks! Yeah safe travels to you as well. I agree I like the older vehicles too for soo many reasons and yeah easier and more straight forward to work on when you can still find the parts.
