If you live on nice big size of land and neighbours aren't too close by, then definitely get a GS. You won't regret it.

I had a bitch cc, she was extremely dominant, she put all the puppies around the executioners. The breeder said that such a strong puppy happens to him once every few litters. Now I have another bitch. She's calmer, she's a real beetle but she doesn't tolerate other animals, most dogs, cats, deer, foxes, birds, anything she would like to die. He can't pass by another dog. She is after obiedience course... reallly. SH hee especially hates Huskies, Alaskan Malamute and Akita inu. The sight of a dog with a tail high in the top makes it blank, it does not hear commands. She has two faces, she's a cuddly toy at home and she's a killer on a walk. Walking with her is neither easy nor pleasant, she is physically and mentally exhausting. A few dogs like her would still be used to hunt wild boars, not one would be torn to pieces.

Mine is 120 at 11 months 😂 Cheap bed option is a basic child's crib mattress . Look for cheap meat scraps at local butcher - meat is much better than kibble . First 6 months can be a challenge and they will challenge you. Be the leader . They can play hard . Chew toys are a must . Buy toys and bones so they dont chew your stuff they chew alot . Tug of war is a daily activity. Slober is worse when they drinknor play - just carry some wipes with you. They aren't mature till 3-4 years - dont soay or neuter till after or keep natural. Shock collar is a must

If I’d known my rescue Frenchie was gonna come into my life, I’d never have got a bed that was 2 feet high ! When she wants to get up and down, she asks me and pick her up and carefully place her where she wants to be. However, she’s a stocky little bundle and whilst saving her hips, it may well be knackering my back ! 😂. (I know, lift with the knees). Having said that she’s an antidepressant, sleeping aid and regular exercise all rolled into one - love her sooooo much 😊❤

Long ago my family had a male German Shepherd. He was so affectionate and intelligent. Male or female, the German Shepherd needs lots of running room outside and around 9--13 years of total dedication by the owner. Don't leave them alone. They need on going training and constant attention. They require constant effort and responsibility on part of the owner.

This video about min Schnauzer’s is spot on. I went to the shelter looking for a small to medium dog. I saw a picture of the one I wanted, she looked nothing like a min Schnauzer, when I went to meet her at the shelter I was shocked because she was all cleaned up and I could see right away that she was a mini. I knew nothing about Schnauzer’s but I fell in love with this 7 year old precious girl. She’s the best dog ever and is exactly like how they are described in the video. Very attached to me from the very beginning, full of energy, requiring at least 45 min to over an hour walk every day which was hard at first (I’ve had her just over a year now) but now I get the much needed exercise I didn’t have before. I call her my shadow because she never wants to leave my side. I know this is long and I could go on forever trying to express the love I have for her and the bond we have for each other

I just lost my Bella 2weeks ago Trying to find another teacup. But I wanted to let you know that when I was potty training her I used treats, these little angels are smart. She realized that every time she went potty she got a treat. After doing this for a few days she decided to squat I gave her the treat. She walked farther and squat again thinking that she didn't really go the first time I treated her again. Finally after the fourth squat I got wise to her game. Needless to say it didn't work the next time. Memories of our time together are bliss.

I Love my Chi, Baxter to the moon and back. He's smart, lovable, and at times can try to pull the wool over your eyes. Daily routines are really important, and socializing with people, yet beware of ornery children that believe a Chi. is a play thing to be played with in rough tail pulling, Chi's hate mean kids and will snarl to defend themselves. Very alert, sees and hears things before we adults, so follow their lead when they have ears erect, & making a small bark to alert of someone coming unnoticed. Overall a bigger dog, in a small package that is wise to their surroundings, and yet once they bond to their owner, they brings so much joy and loyalty, unmatched in such a small perky body of joy!!

Almost sounds like the Amstaff is an athletic model, while the Pit is the athlete. Or the Amstff is the Pretty girl that likes to play some sports on weekends, while the pit is first and formost an athlete. Or the Amstaff is the Pretty girl that's a pretty good college athlete, while the Pit is a Professional athlete. College vs NBA.

Don't be fooled by the fun music and sunny disposition. These dogs are absolutely amazing but HAVE to be trained early on. With their natural instinct to guard without strong leadership, they can become dangerous. My Corso is like my Daughter, she goes everywhere with me and she absolutely loves to guard. You just have to teach them to turn it on and off when they are young or your dealing with a 120 lb loaded gun. I also would recommend finding a traditional Corso rather than the Americanized version you tend to see in the states. They are not as big but have much better health and longer lives. Maybe just hair more sass as well:)

I have a female Cane Corso, My neighbor had some kind of hunting dog that sits in its yard and literally does nothing but bark all day. Anyway ever since my dog was just a puppy she'd sit in her yard and watch the other dog bark almost as if she was better than that dog. It's the funniest thing, yeah females avoid conflict and look a lil pretentious doing it.😂

My first encounter with a Cane Corse came about two years ago. I was getting ready to leave out my back second floor door when I heard barking sound behind the security door. It was a VERY large Cane Corso! He scared the sh*t out of me! I don't know where he came from , I called my neighbors to see if it belonged to them but it didn't, so I called my brother to let him know NOT to open his back door because he might go charging down to the first floor! I called animal control but for some reason they wouldn't come out. With two back doors closed he could still hear me going into my refrigerator and start barking loud...LOL The next day (on a Sunday) my brother and me finally ticked him off my porch and got him to go in the alley and closed the gate behind him! He came back just standing there looking to get back in, I couldn't keep him, he kept growling and barking, he just had to go! So that's my first and only encounter with the Cane Corso!

I have an Aussie Shepherd.. She's a good dog. I really miss my ACD though, nothing like them. I used to say he was both the best dog I have ever had and the worst dog I ever had. He was very good at pushing your buttons that's for sure but that dog could learn anything and would do anything he was asked. Fearless too

Good video, accurate overall. Malinois are not good around young children (toddlers) but can be great with ages 7 and up with adult supervision. Our female Malinois LOVES pool-swimming-fetch sessions. Malinois have webbed toes and are good swimmers. I tossed her in the pool at 3 months just to see what she would do. She'd never been in water before, but instantly started doggie paddled around expertly like she was born to be a swimmer. She also LOVES tug-of-war with toys. Her on-land fetch is a little erratic because she wants to turn it into a game of keep-away when she brings the ball back. In the water, she will fetch reliably. In fact, she'll turn down a treat because she'd rather go do another length-of-the-pool-and-back fetch.
