Nice man, you got any ways to get more consistent tempo? Like any ways to practice or just tips in general? When I'm feeling it I'm super dialed but more often I'm just inconsistent

Thank you! It is a tricky one really, a lot of it is practice for the tempo. If you apply a lot of spin/loft to your shots that can make the tempo much harder to hit, it sometimes helps to only apply as much spin as you need for the shot rather than going for max distance etc.

Great playing Friend. I missed the cut as well. I went -9 and -11 for -20 total. No matter what happens i will be following your progress. You will be back. I also play the CC tournaments with my friend so we can still compare our success and struggles. I have one demo mark in Kinetic at the moment so we will see. You hit some great shots this round. Yeah I'm going to be back on the challenge circuit but I was in CC-F a few weeks back so being in CC-A is still really great! Maybe I'll be back up in Kinetic again some day soon. That is a good couple of rounds! The cut line was really high this week, hopefully you can make the cut and get rid of that demotion mark next week. Thank you for the support, I'll definitely do my best to enjoy the rounds. It is a great game that is really fun to play, I'm looking forward to carrying on my progress soon.

You struck the ball really well, not a terrible round. START AIMING 5 yards left of target and I think you’ll love the results long term. It’s tough to start doing that but once you start dialing in it’ll be really good for you!

Yeah it is a difficult course this week! The platinum course is tricky as well by the looks of it, you were unfortunate not to make the cut.

I haven’t paid super close attention to your swing details in a while so today I really tried to sit down and study your front 9, you hit a push on 100% of your shots, you hit “good” tempo on 78% of shots and you were properly aimed on approach shots 55% of the time. It was a good front 9 that EASILY could’ve ended up -9 thru 9 with some small tweaks. I see a lot of myself in your game from about 15 months ago before I really took off. Not sure if your on discord but if you want to go over anything or see where I got any numbers that’s how I improve my own game a lot of the time, strictly constructive. If not no worries, I’m impressed with how far you’ve come in the last 3-4 months!

Yeah there is definitely a lot to improve but the scores are definitely getting better which is nice to see. This round was a particularly positive one so I thought it would be nice to upload it 🙂 I don't have a discord currently but I've been meaning to set one up for a while. Your advice would be invaluable, my goal is to get to platinum and stay there so learning how to improve my game in these areas would be great! I'll let you know once I've set it up.

@ the fact you had swing plane at 100% is amazing and even the “bad” tempos were small misses, just need to aim for all that and you’ll be perfect. My left to right aim is where I probably need to improve the most so I’m in the same boat, I find it easier to improve when I put the numbers down on paper and really see what went right and wrong. It’s a lot of work but I do it while I’m at my actual job so it’s not so bad 😂 let me know if you set discord up because I can send pictures and stuff over there

I know you said you prefer playing faster, but I think slowing down a bit on the tougher courses would do you good. If even just to consider where the really bad misses are. Like can't be short here, or need to miss this fast if anything.

Yeah I've played a few rounds since making that video and I agree with you. Reckless shots get punished on these harder courses a lot more than they do on the challenge circuit. Thank you for the advice, I'll try and use it in Kinetic and see how it goes.

Lets go Friend. That was a great 1st Kinetic round. You played Amazing. I made it to Kinetic..went back down to CC-A now back up to Kinetic. My goal in the 1st 2 rounds is to play safe and try to make the cut. I go 3 wood many times to avoid bringing water into play the first 2 rounds. Does not always pay off but i try. Then get more aggressive the last 2 rds and try to make things happen. I am excited that you are up here. Good luck. You got this.

Thank you that's very kind of you to say. I played far more aggressively than maybe I should have in this round, it is nice to know that the score was actually pretty good. It will be interesting to see if I can stay in Kinetic or not but it is a good experience either way.

That's a really strange system! I definitely didn't expect to go all the way to Kinetic from CC-F. It is strange how you were only one shot behind me and got CC-B, you would have thought it would be CC-A at the least? Well who knows we might meet in CC-A before too long 😂

You are the only one I see that uses a fade or draw with the wind. Most people use it to compensate against the wind. When you use it with the wind you actually multiply the effect of the wind.

Yeah it was a crazy round! The best I've played by far! The second round was a bit disappointing but it still put me in the top 10 very comfortably.
