May Allah guide you , the laymen that do dawah dont even take knowledge from the real SOK/scholars , so to say "the real people of knowledge have indirectly caused it" is absolutely not true , and they do give dawah , you just dont hear or see it . These laymen dawah people have caused these damages by talking about Islam without any proper knowledge . They're only good at marketing/promoting themselves by talking about whatever is trending and sprinkle it with Quran or hadith , regardless if they abide by sharia or not.

Baarakallaahu feek for your advice. The correct ruling on this issue that it is disliked and not prohibited. Lastly, this is a smart ring and it is supposed to be worn on that finger. I am therefore wearing for necessity and not as an adornment. If you watch my videos, you will see that I do not wear rings at all.
