We mentioned in another comment that we believe Rippa in Texas is building their units from MachPro models… they may have something they publish for their machines but whether or not they’ll share, we don’t know. I recently bought an MP 15 at the Rich auction, however none of the excavators had older manuals in it. Any ideas on how to get an owners manual or what type of oil do I need to put in it?

Unfortunately I don’t believe there are any manuals available… you might try and contact a company in Texas called Rippa who we believe are buying MachPro… on the oil, if your MP15 is diesel then use Shell Rotella for diesel engines… if it’s a gas engine we are using 10w30. The truth is with the gas engines, they are a “splash” system which means no filter so change the oil often. If you’re speaking of the hydraulic system leave another comment and we’ll talk about the requirements for that. Thanks!

About to do this to my 16 WRX. Are broken plugs a common issue with these?

They can shatter pretty easily if your socket isn’t fully over the plug when trying to get them off

@@Shea_sti Thanks man. Do you have a recommended socket or wrench? I'm looking at an extended length handle, low-profile Icon wrench but am afraid of it essentially acting like a breaker bar with its length.

Is the fan you point out just moving air or is there a hydraulic cooler on it?

The fan is just moving air but this model comes stock with a hydraulic oil filter.. the housing /coupler for the filter and the hoses are higher quality. It probably needs a cooler but it all depends on the temperature your running in and for how long. Keep a temp gauge near the return line if you’re concerned about temp… some people say they can start to smell burning oil on the H12 units … but on the MachPro we have not noticed any temp issues yet

If you remove the back panel (there are 4 recessed bolts), you can gain access to the engine and you’ll see the drain bolt right at the base of the engine. This is a Rato engine and you will need to use a funnel with a longer tube to refill.

That little engine doesn't have enough electrical output to run air conditioning hate to be the one to break the news to you
