Thats a hall of fame line up. Rakim never fails with his lyrical perspective. How do I cop this. We must break the conspiracy....no way so many individual talents with proven success collaborate and not get earth shaking reaction.....unless!!!! its bullshit haters at work pumping fuckin Brembo breaks on access to the masses to be heard.!!!!! ALL ARTIST HAVE A FAN BASE!!!!! We must mass email personally .....because this shit is personal.....aaaaaand internal!!!!!!!! BLACK UNITY IS ALWAYS FEARED. This shit happened in Oakland with Huey Newton and Felix Mitchelle ......Now Rakim has unified East Coast and West Coast artist talent????? Same difference

Dude he fuckin beat up Cassey. Took advantage of her youth and groomed her, made her addicted to substances and beat her down. On top payed for the video not to come out. There is a lot of things that put together make sense. Plus didnt ice cube said he wasnt from that club. So if he wasnt in that club he wouldnt really know what has happened because he does not affiliate himself with that. Ofcourse he is a ginea pig if he thinks that his sugar daddys are going to bail him out. They rather see a black male in prison than see themselves in prison. Puff daddys mom after his father died she had to know certain pimps out there and doing tricks. He learned all his behavior from a pimp.

Canada is more racist to black people than the United States. The further you travel into Canada the more racist they are towards blk folks. The crazy part is Canada being apart of our joining out of blk American slavery. They both are guilty of being extremely racist towards god people for sure.

Black Americans were rapping in the 40's. It's on video. It's Black Americans dancing in the 40's that break dancers use their moves on video. Arguing where rap would be without the contributions don't negate the fact that we started it. We started rap...It became wack when other cultures got involved. Started as Rap...Turn to Hip hop...Now it's Hip pop...We are the worlds you setters.

Anytime that black people create something it gets dissected everybody wants a piece. I saw someone having a conversation with China Mac recently and ans he refused to say hip hop was created by blacks he called hip hop "American." When ppl start to giive black genres that banner it eventually gets divorced from blacks. It's the very reason why people today do not know that rock and roll was originally called "race music" because it was considered to be black people's music and white people did not want to touch it but they could not keep their white teenage children from gravitating towards it so since they could not fight "race music" they changed the name of it and put a white man in front of it.Enter Elvis Pressley .

First, the DJ is a disc jockey who controls the music and the MC is the mic controller. If you are going to make the argument, let's start with the correct explanation. From my understanding, HIP-HOP was created to educate America about the culture and struggle.

I hate this convo. Yt ppl already segregate why we further seperate ourselves making our number smaller. Caribbean and American melanated people are the same people. Guys like Tariq Nasheed are American pride first still segregating blacks for no reason. Stop this. Hip hop is a blend of previous music styles and made new anyways. Dont matter if new york or jamaica we all should be able to share in it. Rn WE DONT OWN THE GEBRE ANYWAY. Just like when hoods askin you to check in and banging blocks they dont own either. DJ Kool Herc was from JAMAICAN DESCENT!! He was born in Jamaica. Thats the issue wit this FBA nonsense. Lotta them are mixed and dont know the lineage.

I don’t understand this argument. There were many different origins & influences that help create Hip Hop. I won’t get into the Black American nightmare of this country, but the young brotha’s & sista’s in New York created something beautiful that was for the culture. Something that we could say was ours. Let’s stop this petty stuff, we are all looked upon the same, no matter where you’re from. One Love.

How can Hip-Hop be FBA if all the KNOWN pioneers are Caribbean born or of Caribbean decent? I don’t even know why there has to be this unnecessary divide, as if there isn’t a greater fight? Such nonsense. Unless someone gonna get a time machine and test the theory, cut the shit, and let us all celebrate together. Black people just make being black harder smh

Great convo. The FBA's need to remove a lot of people from Malcolm X to DJ Mustard if they want to only support pure Americans. Black American culture is amazing and should be celebrated, but denying the contributions of other black Americans (born there or not) isn't the way

Good feedback. They probably did defend him - by writing the lyrics to his dis songs. It's the OVO Sweatshop. As for the rest of Toronto, it would be a worst look if we supported him. Siding with a the dude who clearly lost. Even Philly was quiet after Meek lost.

Great video 👍🏽 AK is problematic because he is biased in his opinions. So his opinion isnt as well trusted as it used to be but he is still very knowledgable about rap & hiphop. I wouldnt trust him.... We ❤ you 🇨🇦....we just dont like Drake. 😏 We wanted to hear what Tortonto sounds like and we got a confused artist that does make hit tracks. He had his dancehall phase, his atlanta phase, his London phase, the different accents....🙄 We dont want you to sound like NY, Atlanta or LA....We want to hear what you working with and you should blame Drake too.....for not embracing his own hood. We liked him for the music and now we are finding out the music is slightly fraudulent. That colonizer line hits home as i cannot think of another rapper who went to another city and worked with all the hot artists there 🤔 No shade to Drake he is clearly gifted. However Kung fu Kenny showed alot of people how Drake stays relevant and its disturbing. Not Like Us....really unified us all aganist Drake. He will still be popular but please remember, Drake provoked Kendrick so all of this, even DJ AK, is because of Drake 🤷🏽‍♀️ And he chose the wrong opp. When Drake drew the lines, all his "friends" hopped on Kendrick's side.... he did call us some slaves so.....
