My Parents lived in Saratoga, CA at the beautiful "Vinyards" (Condo). Their balconies were surrounded by Redwood trees and Mourning Doves. I Loved it there. Now I'm old and stuck in Kentucky.

That is pricy. $350 to $400 sq ft for prefab!? Let’s just say you get a 750 sq ft ADU that’s around $300K!!! Why so much? Stick built average in CA is around $250 - $400 sq ft. Bay Area is on the higher side. Stick built requires carpenters to be highly skilled. Your appraised value is higher for stick built. Prefab builders/ assemblers are not highly skilled. They are single task assembly line production workers. These guys are gouging their customers. Get multiple estimates and compare them with great detail. San Francisco area has many RE lawyers that can help.

@@selinacole8936 my attached garage is 380sf x $350/ft = $133,000..............at $300/ft= $114,000...........maybe I can just figure it out myself! and save myself 50-60 grand. In this video its like their doing all of us a favor. There banking on all the equity many homes in bay area and LA have.

Wow, this video was fire. You all should give your video person a rate his or her quality of stuff should not be on your real estate site it should be in a like mercadees commercial or something. What I am trying to say is you got a great videographer and I hope you compensate them well. I have been trying to make something like this for over a year now.
