Sweet piece bro! I liked your other video too on the P1. I was set on getting the P1 and while I was saving up and finally had the money I sorta decided I think I really like the way the grips look on the FPv2 I like the thumb wheels too. You have a killer collection of wheels! Keep on racin!
@simworld778027 күн бұрын
@radius2372 thanks alot bro, I'm with on that 1, the P1 of course, won't let you down but I gotta admit when you 1st power up that FPEv2 it easily stole the show for me, great led layout thumb encoders are at the perfect spot and gets the job done without leaving you want for more. You'll be happy with your selection. But the design of the P1 does give a more confident feeling grip with the smaller thumb holes at the top.

I came close to getting one of those but I ended up choosing Bavariansimtec. Eventually I’ll look into buying a wheel from them but I’m super happy with my Omega Pro.

Was it worth the upgrade? 😊
@simworld77802 ай бұрын
My fanatec hanbrake was having connection issues, so it was definitely worth the upgrade for me, and I also changed my shifter from fanatec, so Im out the ecosystem, which made the change easier. The experience with VNM is far better than fanatec it even has its own software for detail adjustments, optional tension springs and better build quality. The fanatec handbrake is a great option for easier mounting ability on to the fanatec club sport shifter, and both could be plugged into a fanatec wheelbase. But stand alone the fanatec handbrake seems to be among the weakest products from fanatec it's just there to complete the ecosystem and enough the get the car sideways 😀

Congrats on the wheel! I love the smaller grips going from the chunky ones and agree w what you said! Feels more premium
@geforce55913 ай бұрын
Love the improvements to the FPE V2. The V1 had way too many drawbacks for the price. It looked good and that was it. Fanatec got the buttons and rotary encoders right for $300 on the Formula wheel. All GSI had to do back then was copy Fanatec. Also, it's better to compare weight between the two wheels after you have attached the hub and quick release. It's surprising how much weight those things add to a wheel.
@simworld77802 ай бұрын
Yepp, fanatec haven't released an f1 wheel with a full dash, so GSI got some of that market at least, they took the proceeds and improved . Yeah, the quick release adds a bit of weight,good note.

How do you compare this to the P1? Can't decide and not enough funds to buy more than 1 wheel.
@simworld77804 ай бұрын
Hey man, more than one is not necessary, I lean towards my Hyper P1 for formula style cars it flows with my imagination and the FPEv2 I'll do more Le Mans/indycar... only because I have both. However, if I had to choose one, I'd probably go the FPEV2 even though it has less buttons/encoders. It's a great all-around wheel that checks all the boxes and holds a neutral feel for all styles of racing, but not to take away from the Hyper P1 it's their flagship wheel, this is just my opinion but they both feel great in the palm of my hands.

Thanks, I'm excited for you. The colors just add a slight flair when powered off, but the real beauty hits when you plug it in, and all the programmable LEDs are on to add your own flair, so you are not missing anything. NO! the thumb encoders just rotate up and down.

○ The right LED should flash in blue. This means the wheel is in discovery mode or waiting to connect. Open the Bluetooth devices on your PC and click "add device" < Click on the "Bluetooth" option and wait for the device to show up in the device list. Select the device and wait for the pairing to end. The LED should flash quickly when pairing and stay fixed once pairing is completed

Hi, is there any different between the primary and add on pedal ? is it possible to use the primary power brick on add on pedal work as primary ?
@simworld778010 ай бұрын
Hey, simucube definitely leave this area grey, maybe for their marketing, the pedals are all the same, it's only one active pedal and 1 passive pedal. I see no reason why that wouldn't work, I struggle to find a difference besides simucube instructing buyers to purchase primary set for the 1st time buying or if purchasing only 1 pedal. The add on pedal comes with everything according to website, however I purchased the primary set as my 1st as instructed.
@mrbell84510 ай бұрын
There is no difference in primary and add on. They are the exact same pedal. Difference is primary comes with power brick and simucube link hub. The add on pedal only comes with Ethernet switch. You can use the power brick and simucube link hub from primary to make add on a primary pedal. I purchased 2 primary pedals because the add ons were not in stock.

@mrbell845 that what I thought , it mean the prices difference is the simucube link and mean well power brick. Thanks

May i ask why you would want to dampen the throttle? On is V3s
@simworld778010 ай бұрын
Back when I used them, I race with shoes, and the hardest spring (black) was still a little too loose for my liking, doesn't help being 6' feet with size 12 shoes. So adding the dampener, I could add more resistance, but it was in the low end for my adjustability. Ultimately, I found a sweet spot. The break performance kit added the ideal resistance on the break, so didn't need dampener on the breaks.

Yoo, been busy what do you wanna know really? So far I don't think gamer pro is a great improvement over the gamer 2 even though it's much more powerful its still limited by the amp still getting red-light flash before even turning it to half way mark...buttkicker recently released a new amp for buttkicker concert and LFE that might be the way to go for super powerful shaking... and with a motion rig I got alot moving and two other transducers by different brands so I'd prefer that...however of you are new to the buttkicker market get the modern models because i love the new design fit in more spaces, if you want to mount on multiple parts of your rig like the four corners get the plus. If you intend on only using one buttkicker go-ahead with the pro like I have in this video you still won't regret it but if you want to shake the house down get bigger new buttkicker amp paired with buttkicker lfe but that's going to cost you $1000. That's my take...hope you find it useful 👍

@@JohnDoe-og2tw so I run mines with simhub I kept my same layout as far as feedback that I want to feel that I had with gamer 2 so same output...my verdict is I feel the same lower details with a heavier shake...but I'm not getting more details than I did before...same details more rigid shake...it's nicer except I still can't crank my gamer pro amp to atleast 75% without red light flashing...which was the same problem as my gamer2 ...but the buttkicker gamer pro is definitely way superior to buttkicker gamer 2...just limited by the amp.
