Bro, this was excellent! Great first impression and recap of your experience. Love the roll you did at 17:35 it helped show how you were able to keep your head on target, granted head tracking can do that too, but the accuracy here is what is crushing the experience.

@thatflightsimchannel23 сағат бұрын
Yes, we know. That was abundantly clear from the get go. We don’t intend to record through the lens as it does not represent an accurate image of what you see. The only way to do that is to actually wear the headset on your head.

@thatflightsimchannel ok agree with you but lot of people lose money an VR headset and get disappointed because of those can reviewing... Still if you check there's some people recorded through the lens . Resolution totally deferent.

Not as far as I know unfortunately. I believe the OG Pimax Crystal does support this. However, I've recently read that Pimax was working on a faceplate to support this. Time will tell.
@U812-k7jКүн бұрын
What about someone that wears glasses is there room inside to fit a pair of glasses or is the PIMAX view adjustable for differences in people eye sight?
@thatflightsimchannelКүн бұрын
I just tested it out myself and it was very tight and close to the lenses. However, you can always check out Studioform Creative (or Pimax if their inventory is updated) and they make a variety of foam/leather pads for the Pimax that add some thickness and creates more distance from the lenses. I'm going to end up ordering the 15mm one to add a bit more cushion and create a slightly bigger gap from the lenses. Otherwise, the default setting of the Crystal Light is surprisingly comfortable out of the box!
@PaulMcDonagh-rv6vc5 сағат бұрын
You will need to buy prescription lenses, or if wearing glasses, you will need a larger face gasket. Studio-foam is the go-to company.
@thatflightsimchannel5 сағат бұрын

It is OVERpowered for sure. I've heard (online) that real pilots cut power after lift off because in the event of a engine failure, one engine can pull you to either side because it's so powerful. In the checklist it seems to suggest to keep it full power but anyone would know that it does not need more than 70% throttle to climb 2000fpm and maintain its 140vy speed.

I’m using the piston version with the KLN 90b (recommended when you want full immersion and realism) of the duke. It’s a great plane, first I mainly flew the Fenix A320 and the switch to a high komplex plane was pretty difficult because the A320 is doing nearly every step for you. This video is perfect for basic operation with the duke. Thanks for it 👍🏽.

Great Video! What are you using for camera movements?
@thatflightsimchannel27 күн бұрын
We use TrackIR for in-cockpit head movements (as well as exterior). For the exterior drone-like footage, we're using the drone camera installed on MSFS2020. You use the "A,S,D,F" keys which control movement in the sim. To get to this camera, load up a flight in FlightSim and press "Insert" on your keyboard. This should be the default key to enable the drone camera.

Is the atc a mod? Or some kind of outside connected simmers acting as atc?How can i get it?
@thatflightsimchannel28 күн бұрын
What you're hearing is BeyondATC, which is a 3rd party add-on for MSFS. It uses AI-generated voices to interact with you during a flight. It works best when you pair it with Simbrief. Once you generate your flight plan through Simbrief, you open up BeyondATC and once it connects to the sim, it automatically pulls up your flight plan from Simbrief. Of course, you'll need to have your Simbrief linked in with BeyondATC. www.beyondatc.net/

The sounds are genuine to the aircraft. Maybe check your sound settings in MSFS and make sure your engine sounds, misc sounds, cockpit sounds are turned up.

Good landing. Again, except for the EFB. This tutorial would work on the Fenix.
@stevesumner99882 ай бұрын
If you would have stayed in managed mode, the auto pilot would have brought you all the way to a point to where you could have turned off the autopilot and hand flown the rest of the way in.
@stevesumner99882 ай бұрын
So far. Everything you have explained here, will work on the Fenix. Difference is the checklists, and EFB. Start up is the same. You should explain the dots that are on when you are in managed mode. For the price, this is an outstanding aircraft.

Is there a way to reset the timer on inspection date?
@thatflightsimchannel2 ай бұрын
After reviewing the manual, it seems like there is no direct way to reset the inspection date on the ETM itself. However, my best guess is to go to the Bendix RDR1150XL, go to the NAV page using the rotary dial on the upper right corner, and try repairing both Left/Right engines until both engine conditions are back up to 100%. This might trick the ETM into resetting the date since the manual states the date is “entered by maintenance technician”. Additionally, for the timer itself, once you arrive at the inspection date on the ETM, use the clock function buttons to the right and see if they interact with that page. We’ll have to try both of these methods later to verify it ourselves but it’s the best shot we can suggest! Let us know if this works for you.
