We camped on the stretch that’s between Golden Beach and Glomar Beach. If you use Wiki Camps you’ll see there’s a bunch of free camps along that part of the coastline. Cheers for watching.

Is it accessible by full size caravans?
@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 7 ай бұрын
@@theboarhunter From memory the camps closer to Golden Beach are more accessible and have a lot more open space whereas the camps closer to Glomar beach are more inclosed and harder to access and more suited to tents and camper trailers. Caravans should be fine as long as you can get a spot near Golden Beach. Hope that helps.

@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 Жыл бұрын
Hi mate, we were there in December and I don’t remember it being to hot but it was incredibly windy whilst we were camped at South Lefroy so that may have kept us cooler. Don’t put off going if you haven’t been, it’s an unreal spot and try do a few a couple of nights minimum at both Winderabandi and South Lefroy as they are fairly close together and both amazing. Maybe avoid a camp spot that’s right on the beach and get a spot that’s behind the dunes or slightly more sheltered just incase the wind does pick up like it did for us. Cheers for watching!

Hi, we head out to the park for new year and was surprised how little people were camped there. I can’t answer that for Christmas but most people were just doing day trips from Shark Bay but weren’t staying in the national park overnight. Maybe just arrive early in the day on the day you wish to stay in the park and try get a spot as some people may leave around 9-10am.

Hey Guys, Looking to do a trip down south to Bremer Bay… maybe camping at peppermint beach. Can you take camper trailers down to the beach to camp in? Andrew
@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew, Bremer Bay was beautiful and still one of those spots we always think back to. As for Peppermint, I can’t answer for as we didn’t visit that beach but there’s a couple of good camp grounds in Bremer itself that you can do day trips from. We did stay at the far western end of Dillion Beach that was unreal but the track in was pretty tight in places and sandy but if you don’t mind a few scratches I’m sure you’d get a small trailer down there onto the beach. Maybe check wiki camps or online to see if anyone mentions getting a camper trailer down onto some of the beaches in the area. Charlie & Helen

is the tent loud when it comes to zippers and loud during rainfall?
@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nathan During rainfall it wasn’t to bad, you could obviously hear it but it didn’t keep us awake at night. When it was windy the rain fly did make a fair bit of noise flapping around which took a little while to get used to. It only really kept us up when it was incredibly windy on the Western Australian coastline.

@@beachdrivesblueskies7954 Hey again ! I plan to buy the tent front runner for my Jimny gen 3. But i have a question : can I mount the tent on roof rail ? Because they tell me I only can mount it on roof rack but it is much more expensive than roof rail/bar. Thanks in advance ! Max
@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 2 жыл бұрын
@@mdb7 Hi Max, I’m 99% sure it’ll work on rails as well. I couldn’t find a photo of the brackets that come with the tent online but the tent comes with so many different brackets for different types of set ups. I had a quick search on Instagram as well and I’ve found other people with the Front Runner tent mounted onto rails. Worst case you might have to pop to the local hardware store to get something but it should have the brackets to mount it in the box. Hope that helps.

I’ve asked several channels, no answer. Why are the flies so thick in AUS?
@beachdrivesblueskies7954
@beachdrivesblueskies7954 2 жыл бұрын
They always seem to be worse in hotter dryer parts of Australia and usually when there are lots of them near the ocean it’s because strong winds have blown them from inland towards the coast. As to why there’s so many in Australia we’re not sure.
