@@n.d.engleson6499 it's either: 1- maybe the comment section was filled with unfunny jokes that poked fun at the whole "kissing" thing and they din't want that on a video made for the lols. 2- the channel just doesn't like comments.

They’re dressed in normal clothing (as I stated in the description) just so fans could get an idea of what they’d look like in otherwise warm/casual weather. By the way, Nintendo should definitely consider making them look that way for once in their life. I believe I’ve seen certain characters in the Smash games in different outfits (e.g. in Melee, Pikachu wearing a ball cap and Jigglypuff wearing a flower in its head), so why not?

Wow! This is truly amazing! What could not be accomplished in 1990 finally has been in 2024, 84 years after its original release! Deems Taylor’s true voice has finally been restored to FANTASIA! Excellent job ! Let’s hope ALL of his dialogue can be miraculously returned to the film.

Character names include Pinocchio, Geppetto, and Figaro, and they point out that you could get a Stromboli at the Olive Garden. But they still do not realize it could be set in Italy, even concluding it’s impossible to know where it is… 😭 Plus someone saying it was made during the Cold War, when it was made well before then, but the main response here being “So?!” I mean good they don’t think it’s an excuse but we even had time to become allies during WWII before the Cold War ensued lol

@@valeryvilla5808 Thank you! TBH I’m not much of an animator as I am an illustrator, but there’s a first for everything. Something simple like anime sounds like a good start especially when since the frame rate is low, the key poses are mostly still, and there’s only 2-3 in-betweeners.

I think this is close enough to Deems Taylor's original voice. All you need to do is do the same to the other intros (maybe even do a second beginning version of "When Igor Stravinsky wrote his ballet, The Rite of Spring..." before the chime accident before using the VHS audio after recreating "I repeat..."). Think you can see what you can do?

Sure I can, but I need to tinker around with Adobe Audition first and see if I can drown out the background sound effects (e.g. the instrument tune-ups). It may be a while so be patient.

It’s a shame because this became a box office flop along with Pinocchio during ww2 they couldn’t release or distribute the full uncut version outside of The US anywhere in Europe Most of this footage including audio was trimmed as a result of box office failures due to budget constraints RKO Pictures Disney’s distributor had to cut out some footage from this Film and the one on VHS became The general release For rereleases and for The 50th Anniversary release over many decades the audio disappeared

I could at some point; then again, explaining to them it’s the work of AI may be a tough decision to make. Of course I’m not entirely sure what the rules are as with voice cloning, but I do know it can devalue someone’s voice work for one thing.

I’m all about watching movies in their original unmodified theatrical versions even Star Wars especially even though since lucasfilm won’t hand over the original theatrical versions there’s only four options to watch them one on VHS Two 2006 Gout DVD or Three On Laserdisc and four Despecialized DVD

This gives me more and more evidence that the 1991 VHS did, in fact, have the original narrator's voice, while the DVD and Disney Plus were dubbed by Corey Burton instead, not the other way around!

I may have pointed this out before, but only 47% of Taylor’s original dialogue was left out of the VHS release which is why they couldn’t restore all his lines when they tried to restore the original roadshow version of the movie for DVD.

@@n.d.engleson6499 Well, for Rite of Spring, I think a good thing to do would be to create a new tone when beginning "When Igor Stravinsky wrote his ballet, the Rite of Spring..." before the chime accident happens and after you recreate "I repeat...", you'd play the VHS audio. What do you think of that?
