Belinda has had a diverse life style in her younger days with the Go-Go's.

This made be both happy and sad. Happy that your mom and dad was able to except who you are; and sad my parents did not live to see gay becoming mainstream. I came out at 15 in 1975 and was not wanted in my parents home. I also had two gay brothers; the oldest who killed him self after failing to live a heterosexual “lifestyle” and my younger gay brother who stayed in the closet. We were raised in a religious Christian home. A lot of misinformation about gay spoke was perpetrated by the church. Basically they projected their own perversions onto the gay community in order to distract from the fact clergy were molesting children. Religious people can sometimes be as offensive as racists.
