It's so great to see such monstrous musicians all playing together to perform the amazing tunes of the most monstrous band ever.

Where the fuck is the percussion.... Xylophone and the marimba...this sucks without them.
@ragbaraji92717 күн бұрын
You just can't replace a Ruth Underwood man :) Having 8 musicians on tour in 2024 is also costly. Frank and the crew he had with him were monsters, and although I really love Dweezil, pulling all the stops is very hard. But all I can say is attending the concert, I was quite pleased with the result, and I'm grateful to Dweezil for putting it together, playing material from some of my favorite Zappa albums.

@ragbaraji9271 funny he did it before when I seen him.

If you are a guitarist and never learned a Zappa tune, try learning this one, it’s a C minor blues thing with big eyebrows.

Is Tony Levin playing two guitars at the same time ?
@tristanfabriani9 күн бұрын
Technically, no, he's playing a guitar and a bass at the same time. It's called a chapman stick. Very cool. was right in front of him at the Milwaukee show.

I was there, a few feet to your left. Thanks for sharing this. It was a treat to experience the show, what I was hoping for after watching the vids from earlier shows. BTW, Fripp was not there, but to me this is the latest incarnation of KC and I'm glad they're playing the music and making it their own. Danny was great. They all were.

The best tour on the planet right now. I saw the 7th show in Austin. What I like is that they keep adding new elements to the show as they go...So...we'll see the 62nd show in San Antonio...can't wait...really fun...World Class. Thank you Mr. Fripp.

I can not understand why Bruford rejected being part of this celebration. Now he is on tour in the UK with a trio.

Mm, just unimaginable that he wants to do what He wants to do , bloody unfathomable i'nit ?.
@TheJimNicholson12 күн бұрын
I was under the impression that he felt he didn't have the physical stamina for the tour. Also, he's kind of got a reputation for moving forward once he feels he's done what he came for. And what he's doing with Pete Roth is *very* different from the 80s Crimson material.

I was sitting right in front of Steve, man he is bad-ASS! This song section was definitely one of the highlights of this show for me. Hearing Dig Me live was also a real treat! Thanks for sharing this!

me too! Steve Vai melted my brain!
@ragbaraji92717 күн бұрын
As a long time both Vai and King Crimson fan, this was an extraordinary concert. Steve Vai is a legend of our time, and to see him humble himself, stay there on the side and pay absolute respect to the music of King Crimson, shredding silently those impossible Fripp arpeggios, was such a sight. A true professional. And even when he went wild with some of his gimmicks, it was still in line with the music and fitted perfectly

@@paulburke9198 For the time being you have the opportunity to see the live stream tomorrow and in the following week veeps.com/beattour/8be0fed5-adca-4644-ada2-71ef8cc83cb4 As for the rest, I'm just a huge music fan who's primary concern is enjoying myself the music I loved over the decades, and sharing it with friends and community. I record from wherever I end up sitting, on a phone, these are not meant to be professional recordings. It's a freebie video showing you a show from few days ago, what do you expect? I would be happy to fix any inKorrect spelling you can point out. Please support the artists by attending the shows, or in this specific case, if you haven't see them yet, the stream tomorrow seems like a killer opportunity. By now these guys had enough time to really work out the sound and the interaction with each other, so it's bloody amazing what they sound like. Each and every one of them is a professional, paying respect to the KC classics.
@ragbaraji927113 күн бұрын
Honestly, the show sounded OK to me. As for the recording, yeah, lots of obstacles that affect the audio quality. I'm just grateful to have the opportunity to see this amazing project live. Every single concert on the planet is affected by the guy on the console mix, the venue space and sound, the sound engineers, etc etc. You cannot have it all always.
@georgepeterson1001Күн бұрын
Sounded much better on the lower level and not through a phone. EQ was spot on for all instruments (esp the stick songs) imo. Adrian's voice sounded eerily close to the album versions, too, which doesn't come through in this recording... There was some sort of mishap with Adrian's Jaguar but besides that, was blown away by how flawlessly they executed this show and am positive you're hearing some combo of shitty phone quality and acoustics of an old theater

#denyskinchev

Why? I feel like I'm in a casino lounge lost in Atlantic City drunk on cheap vodka.
@JamminClemmons27 күн бұрын
What’s interesting about (you people) & your vodka-induced alcoholism, is that just a few years before the infamous potato famine, Ireland was the site of a massively successful temperance campaign led by the noted Catholic priest, Theobald Mathew. So successful was this campaign that between 1838 and 1841, their national alcohol consumption was cut in half.

Nothing makes me more happy than to see all of these audiences embrace Nikki on the drums when she has only been playing with them for like two weeks so far. She is freaking great, and when I saw her show up at the show I went to last week, I think I was the only person at my venue who wasn't saying "who the F is that on the drums???" I would have never expected to see her play with this band, but I can't be more happy she has joined the rotation. Anyone who sits in with this band is a master class musician! The only two drummers I haven't seen with them so far is Larnell and Sput, and I don't think Sput has played with them for years so that will sadly probably never happen. Anyway, thanks for this upload!

Unbelievable night. Words cannot describe. I was surprised by the reaction to her to be honest. She more than proved herself to be sure, but I am not sure why the reaction was so much more enthusiastic. Do people know her? In anyway, they all killed it
