I worked at Tacoma General Hospital for almost 20 years. Working the overnight shift doin various things, I would hear and see things here and there. Very fascinating to me. Puget Sound Hospital was also another hotspot for stuff.

My Mom worked there in the 60s as a teller. ❤ She has passed, it would have been fun to ask her if she experienced anything there. Thanks for this, it’s nice to see what the place looked like when she was there. ❤

@@auspiciouscloud8786 Which is right next to wapato lake is it not? or is it the other bank that looks more older?

@@JohnnySpectron Wapato Lake is on the East side of interstate 5, where as the bank in the video is West of I-5. Look for the intersection of 56th and South Tacoma Way on Google maps.

I grew up in UP around the City of Tacoma and Lakewood. am familiar with these sites. My friend rented space in the Old City Hall. It is a beautiful building. It has good "bones" It was definitely creepy. I grew up performing in and working at the Temple Theater and the Rialto Theater which is now the Pantages. I had to go down into the deep dark basement to turn on the huge, old generator. Every step of the way was dark except for the small circle of my usher's flashlight. It was all cement without doors but anyone/any thing could be waiting in the dark to jump out and scare me. One of the most haunted places I have ever been was the old ruins of the Western State Hospital next to Lake Waughop. You should check that out. Super haunted.

do you know any stories from Winthrop Wa., a friend and I went there to hunt a long time ago and it is an old town but very nice old western look, the thing that got us was the weird rock piles all along the roadway coming into town from the south. The rock piles are stacked small on large and vice versa

Lived on 43rd and B st, used to play at the 43rd gulch we had a rope tied to the bridge and walk up the side of the gulch then swing down over the tracks about 40-50ft untill the stick we had for a handle broke on me almost at the peak of the swing out, I remember hearing SNAP! I looked up I could hear the wind going by my ears then I landed on the only part that had a patch of grass on it the rest was rocks and sticker bushed broke both my wrists had a concussion but dont regret it was fun, good times.

There is another story of the woman under the bridge of volunteer park . She worked for the prison to support her three kids. The people that worked at the prison killed her kids and then for years after raped and beat her both prisoners and detention officers. She hung herself under the bridge before they cut her down threw her in river... She hates men so when men see her she is beautiful but screams. To woman she has a voice of a angel and sings a beautiful song but woman never seen her only heard

I have lived in the Tri-Cities since I was a kid and went to those baby graves in the early '90s and had a similar situation happen when we were leaving we thought we were going to hit somebody and had to swerve out of the way and the car died but no one was there and luckily the car started after a very tense and stressful 10 minutes

You missed a gritty story in Lake Chelan this takes place in the late 1800s where 400 Chinese placer miners where looking for a new location for gold little did they know their were some pissed off Native Americans who pushed off them off a cliff and he’s the scary part No one knows where the bodies are to this day only two of Chinese bones where found scattered in different locations

I volunteered on the Kalakala restoration effort 2000-2001. We even had a makeshift foundry set up by the bow doors where we cast replacement parts. It was a noble effort but the odds were long. What I didn’t understand then or now was how in a city of billionaires no one could spare the $6M to rehab it. Would have made a nice annex to MOHAI in south Lake Union.

Several years ago, when the state was negotiating a lease on the grounds that are now the park, I was called in to give a bid on consulting. I took a tour of the property and I noticed an area that was surrounded by a hedge. I realized that there were graves. So, when I talked to the person putting out the bid I asked "how do you want the cemetery handled?" "What cemetery?" "There's a cemetery." "Oh yeah. Don't worry about it. It will just be part of the park. We'll put a picnic table in there or something." The attitude still pisses me off.
