I had never even heard of that until I saw the bottle that day!

@OakandCedar holy shit man I saw a 5th of teachers only because my buddies grand dad had an extensive whiskey collection. And this was 20 years ago. It was an old dusty bottle so 20 years ago it was probably 20 years old maybe more! Anyway never EVER saw it again until your post. Awesome memories.

It amazes me how many people are willing to risk federal offense to make a few bucks. The “secondary market” is 100% illegal folks for both sides of the transaction. Is that bottle REALLY worth a SWAT raid from ATf, and potentially getting your pets shot over?
@RJ-wx3fhКүн бұрын
@SlainteFromFlorida clear glass bottle with questionable storage does tend to degrade them more than a light proof box, but probably still tastes okay if you do open it , andnprobably got a big market for a shelf curio

Welcome to Whiskey tube. I stumbled across your channel because of the short on those dustys. Cool find. Just a couple of tips. Film stores horizontally. This video also could've been broken into 3 parts. Those 2 things and these videos would've probably got over 1000 views. A couple of hunting channels I follow are majorxero and alittleoldfashion. Check them out. Maybe you can grab some pointers there. Look forward to seeing some more content and good luck with the channel.

Man, thank you so much! I'm getting some equipment in the next couple days to help with that. I truly appreciate the input... breaking it into parts would have been easier. If I can ask... can you tell me where you'd cut it? Obviously the two towns, but otherwise, where else?

Back in the late 1960s and early 1970s, Mississippi was still dry for liquor. There was plenty around but it wasn't legal. Seeing those half-pints brought back some fond memories. Little country stores would have a back or side door where you went and got your liquor. No choice as to what brand they had. Always a case of half pints. Old Charter and Old Crow were both real common. No limit on age, you just had to have the money...
