Is this taught up at the church? This is the kind of preaching and learning that I think so many Christians are hungry for these days. People want to learn the Bible chapter by chapter and book by book.

Politicians are liars so why would we elect liars and not true people of Christ?

You spent 44 min NOT giving the Gospel and claiming to be speaking of God? How is that truth.. this is 44 min of trying to get someone to vote against freedom.. the same Freedom God gives. Christ is the savior .. 44 minutes speaking 0 mention or credit to him.. Stop lying

Personality does effect politics! Putin controls the information the Russian citizens receive. Hitler was responsible for mass extermination of precious lives. Trump incited a riot where people died! Wake up from your religious slumber! The love of Jesus changes lives, not laws.

Just got a bad feeling maybe I'm wrong. wish someone would have talked to me instead of chasing me around.Ill think on it and asked god. But yeah both my encounters with the church were rough.I sure gods got it maybe it just wasn't for me.

Honestly it kind of felt like a psychotic attack maybe it just wasn't for me. The staff made sure I knew I wasn't welcome. The the first time I went staff chase me around the parking lot and when they talk to me it sure wasn't ❤. No the way I was spoken to was deceptive and hostile. Of course my heart can change but the truth can't I can try again next Sunday.

Someone help with this. I dont understand. I just visited a new christian church that labels themselves as "christ centered". The message was in response to the election outcome this week and the messagae was encouraging the church because they were all depressed about the outcome. I thought the church was supposed to be against abortion, and transgendering children, and LGBTQ?
@brandonnhunxho677211 сағат бұрын
Being against shouldnt mean punishing people harshly for doing it. I thought Christ forgives and saves? Or do Christians not care for following Christs way?

I see this is a month ago. I changed my voting registration from independent to republican. First time since 87 i voted a straight republican ticket. My son is 30 now and he was raised and graduated in Vermont. As liberal as the state was i never heard talk of perversions that are being pushed on the children today. It's disgusting,up to birth abortion,open borders you name it i probably against it. I'm glad i voted for Trump. I believe he has been chosen

John the Baptist did not preach to the crowd. He went directly to king Herod. You did what the Pharisees did….. you incited the crowd with misinformation and asked for Barrabas, I mean Trump.

Josh Howerton, you actually didn't mention what is the primary reason for not endorsing a candidate, because we all know you are endorsing a candidate when you cast your vote. It is against IRS Regulations for a Church or Pastor from the Pulpit to endorse a Candidate otherwise you put your Tax Exempt Status at risk. So you are obviously more worried about losing your tax exempt status, (therefore putting money above God), because without saying the candidates name we all know who you are endorsing by your sermon.

I agree with almost all of what Josh has said here. What I would point out (as a person who has advocated for unborn life for decades) is that opposing a national abortion ban is a legal and Constitutional position and not a statement of preference. The Supreme Court has ruled that there is no constitutional justification for the federal government to force abortion to be legal in all states. The federal government CANNOT take a legislative or judicial position on abortion other than to remand it to the states. Therefore if the federal government cannot force it to be legal, it also cannot force it to be illegal. The 10th Amendment of our Constitution (which is controlled by "we the people" who Josh correctly pointed out are the ruling authorities biblically) says that if the Constitution does not give a power to the federal government, then it cannot exert power over that issue, and it belongs to the states and individuals to decide on. It would be anarchy (and thus unbiblical) for the federal government to say "We don't care what the Constitution says, we're passing a law to make it illegal." You cannot simply pass a law to make it a federal issue--but you can try to amend the Constitution to add abortion to one of the areas the federal government is permitted to rule on. I just don't think realistically there are 38 state legislatures that will vote for that. It is certainly more difficult and less convenient to have to go to all fifty state legislatures and persuade them to outlaw abortion, than to do a one-stop-shop in Congress, but that is what the law says must be done. It's not a pro-life vs. pro-abortion issue, but a constitutional one, and it follows the intent that states (which was a word that meant "country" when the US was founded) be sovereign except for areas that are narrowly defined in the Constitution.

Dependence on The LORD is how the church ⛪️ should operate. Keeping Him on the Throne is the way to live and honor Him.
