I’d love to replace all of my bulbs with LED’s but I just don’t know enough about how to do it. I just replaced both headlight bulbs with regular OEM this summer so I missed my opportunity I guess.

I think they were 20mm m6 but I’m not completely sure. I’ll try find out

Why did you change it, just because of the discoloration?

@@TrinityCT11 I mainly did it due to hearing about them cracking around the neck when they get old and brittle. I know it usually happens in places with hotter climates but it’s just piece of mine and also looks a lot cleaner 👌🏻

Shame wrapping materials are so expensive. I’ve tried with cheap stuff and it not worth the effort. Whatever, excellent demo of the craft.

@@paulwiltshire1285 yeah they ain’t cheap! I paid around £60 for a 1x1.5m of that forged wrap. Its great hexis let up buy by the meter and not just a full roll. Thank you 😁

Excellent video, mate. I've wrapped a few but in cheap sticker bomb wrap......😅. And my sons just done a faux blue alcantara.....got about another 5 in my unit !!!!! Good work keep the vids coming.

How did you get the tow hook there?

I drilled a hole through the bottom part of the crash bar and put a 10mm ally spacer between and used the thick nut and bolt to secure it

Warning if you buy this strut bar on LHD, the fitment is a pain in the ass, the AC lines are in the way and its extremely hard to make it fit correctly, the bracket for the lines will never fit again so you'll have to make your own bracket or zip-tie it.

Yeah you can peel it back and re apply. We did it a few times to make sure it was laid nicely. You don’t need to wet this wrap as it has air channels

All of these “fixes” are complete bollocks. I spent hours and hours working on my NC, and the only reliable way to stop water leaking is to park with the front of the car facing downhill.

Well it stopped the leak in the footwell so not really bollocks 😂 best way is to garage it but don’t have that luxury 🥲

Be careful not to slam the roof down it distorts the frame in the middle front edge and can cause wind noise and leaks in worst case. easily dressed back in to shape if needed.

In trying to do this fix, I find that my windshield wiper is stuck; contracted probably due to age and time. Do you have any ideas on how to remove it? I've tapped it with a hammer no joy.

@@Mx5modified yeah I don't think that'll work. I found YT vids on Windshield Arm Puller tool which I am going to get. It's really stuck due to age corrosion.

Great video guys! Nice to see a run-through of all the different aspects of Sam's car, especially the aesthetic bits and exhaust setup/noise! Would be great to have a camera or mic on the exhaust to hear what it sounds like from outside too but nice thorough video. Looking forward to the next 👌

A difficult watch. How you managed to stretch that to 23+ minutes, I'll never know I applaud your enthusiasm, but I'm not sure a series of this nature has any legs. You're putting a lot of stock in the car owners being knowledgeable but also capable in front of camera. Not everybody is an 'influencer,' consider changing the format to something shorterm

I know the people who would want to be in the videos would have the knowledge on what’s been done to the cars and going to give the option of talking about it or us been on camera. Never been a fan of the short form content want to go into detail of what’s been done and why. Its not for everyone but has done well in comments and views so far 👌🏻

Going to pick up my 08 Mx-5 this weekend. The engine is shot so I will be re-replacing it with a 2.5 Eco tech engine from a Ford fusion, which is co-developed by Mazda so technically it’s Mazda engine which makes it still family (in Dom’s Voice from the fast and the furious )😅..And boy I can’t wait!

Very nice! Great engine I have one in mine (the camo one) running around 200bhp with a manifold and remap. You know what they say you never turn your back on family (doms voice) 😂

Those eyelids are just vinyl wrap stuck onto the headlight. Very easy and cheap to do

Nice video, it'll help me to do that to my own NC. However please work on your audio - first part of the video is decently loud, but from around 2:20 it's so quiet that it's really hard to understand what you're saying.
