Thank you for this video. I am new to orchid growing and trying to branch out into different varieties, but also a beginner. I started with purchasing orchids from the grocery store, but have now become more enthusiastic about other species. I found an online orchid center selling very reliable plants for newbies as well as more dedicated plant growers. I have ordered from them numerous times and have always been very happy with the plants and service. I have only lost one due to my inexperience. I just recently ordered from TG Orchids, but have not received my order as of yet. It has only been a short time in this new world of COVID. I am looking forward to my plants, but discovered I am now facing a new challenge of orchid growing....the Vanda pretty intimidating to a new grower. Your video and experience was very informative! I have been looking at the three sites you mentioned and not sure which was the better to order from, I will try Paramount next time. , thank you for your very informative video. We are very limited in Canada to online orchid purchases.

I love this scent. It reminds me of Bottega Veneta. Do you know what can we add to make it last longer? Do you think adding a single note amber can make it last longer? For some reason, even though this doesn’t have any floral note in it, I can smell a soft jasmine. I have a sample of this. I’m buying a full sized bottle for sure. I love these kind of scents. The leather in this reminds me of Bottega Veneta original and eau de velours 🥰

Beautiful, powdery yet green and soft and billowing. It’s very Chanel, classy and smells expensive...Love this one , I wish it was stronger though , i like to use this in summer. Excellent review! :)

Hi just found your video very helpful Handling the potting media without a mask and gloves is dangerous to your health. Please do this outside please as you don’t want to inhale or swallow bacteria. I nearly died handling media when I inhaled a Protozoa from the media, because I wasn’t wearing a mask and gloves. Shower after. Doctors don’t always work it out in time and can misdiagnose.

So you repotted in semi water culture... except not quite because the water drain holes are at the bottom rather than say and inch up from the bottom. Do you agree?

Hey, you don’t cut the flowers stem at the base....you cut it above the first knob for rebloom !

Flowers shouldn't all die at once it's probably too much water on roots water still needs to drained out from bottom.Need to dry faster and evenly. My spikes didn't turn yellow I cut some of it hoping it will spike or have keikis I put little cut by the node and hormones on it

The Spikes doesn't always turned yellow if it was cut before the nod and can produce keiki.

there is a low hum about the perfume with the soft Musks united with small dose of sweet Jasmine. with a fuzzy, nuzzly texture to it. I have a strict soliflore Jasmine perfume that's very strong and lasts a very long time. I have successfully layered it with the perfume for a Jasmine overdose. The Jasmine musk scent gets very obvious and pronounced (makes it stronger to the nose). I usually spray Poudré on very liberally. With the layering l use much less of it. Though there is no leather in the perfume at all, it smells leathery, there is a metallic bitter bite to the perfume (galbanum, aromatic Tonka, iris and Unsolicited Jasmine). The textured musk can smell suede like.

Clinique's Aromatics I think is the perfume Youth Dew reminds you of. Great collection. Following your advice and hoping that one day I will appreciate it so I'm holding on to Shalimar But not there yet - not even a like. I've got Habit Rouge which kind of puts me in Shalimaresque mood. I'll have to try out those Artisan scents seeing how many you have in your collection. I love love Dior Addict from when it was first launched. Lucky you (1st formulation) how I envy you. I have 2 100mls bottles of the 2014 (navy +silver).

I bought my first orchids this year. The first one was in spagnum moss and was just holding moisture and ultimately died. The second one was beautiful with healthy leave and a large flower spike. Unfortunately, that too had root rot but I unpacked it and repotted it within a week of buying it. I kept the flower stem since it didn't seem like it wasn't doing too bad. However, no matter how much I watered it, there were no new roots or leaves. The leaves were leathery and I just kept hoping it would pull through. Finally the flowers died, and I cut the stem about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I see 4 new roots coming out. I have sprayed them with distilled water to keep them moist and also allowed the roots to dry out and sit on top of the media after I cut the stem. I kept it moist and finally put them in the bark media after I started to see the new roots. This is over a span of 4 months. I bought a phal mini at the same time as the second plany and that one has done better than the larger one simply because it didnt have as much root rot. It aslo thrived after 3 months and one of the flowering stems was cut. That baby has been new roots almost every other week and i have gotten 3 new leaves since I got it. I also did everything this girl did when I repotted the plants.
