Hello madam, My doubt is, why should we use phrasal verb? Without using can't we make sentences..? This is my a long time doudt. I have spent a lot of money to my new car. And I have spent a lot of money on my new car . Don't spend too much on me; Don't spend too much for me What's the difference between in this two sentence s? Without phrasal verb couldn't we converse or written in English madam. Please clear this doudt mam.🙏
@PEEPALLAB2 күн бұрын
You can Generally, we spend money for a purpose, or we spend money on a thing. But, we can use it interchangeably. Don't worry about subtle differences.

Wait a minute. (இங்கு for வரவில்லை.) ஆனால், I will be waiting for you at railway station.(இங்கு for வருகிறது). அதனால் Wait க்கு பிறகு for எங்கு வரும்? எங்கு வராது? என்பது குறித்து ஏதேனும் rule உள்ளதா madam? கூறுங்கள் please.
@PEEPALLAB5 күн бұрын
"Wait a few minutes" and "wait for a few minutes" are both correct ways to say you want someone to wait for a short time. "Wait" can be used with or without "for" when you talk about time. But, we generally use "Wait for " when we talk about people/oject. Example: I am waiting for the postman. (2) I am waiting for the package to come.
