There's a later novel by Cadnum, "Forbidden Forest: the Story of Little John and Robin Hood," published in 2002.

I picked up that same edition in a used bookstore not too long ago. I haven't read it yet, but I'm looking forward to it!

This is such a cool way to provide additional content for podcast listeners! I love reading Robin Hood themed novels, and I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts about the many books available. I haven't read Into A Dark Wood for quite some time. I think I was in junior high the last time I read it! I might have to give it a reread now that I'm older and understand more of the context and history. Thanks for a well-worded review!

@@intothegreenwoodpodcast6559 So many! Two of my favorites are The Scarlet Forest by A.E. Chandler and The Arrow of Sherwood by Lauren Johnson. They both have an attention to historical detail that I really love.
