South Africa will have to be evacuated in about ten years. The entire continent is off-limits. Nobody knows yet where to send the Afrikaners. Perhaps half of them can go to America, and half to Europe. Mainly people under the age of fifty. I wonder if there are enough old Victory ships to help with the job.

But whote people are replicating the AFRIKAN cultural works stolen/looted (or destroyed) by Europeans/white people. Yinka couldn't have commissioned Benin, Yoruba - Afrikan and Diaspora Afrikan ceramic artists???!!!!!

This is captivating! I am am more interested in the process, the unconscious wisdom that arises when creating and not knowing. which confirms what i have always thought when creating. I believe we do not have to know it all when we create, we create first and the meaning comes after, which also means we surprise our selves as creatives an equally we don't own the meaning of our work. I enjoyed this conversation so much.

WOW...... it's sooo wonderful to see you again Sam, and the unique privilege you granted us to watch you at work and enjoy your wonderful jazz collection...... I also still cherish that visit to your home for dinner and to experience your distinguished art collection as well as to meet your gracious wife; just in case you forgot, I'm Akyem-i Ramsay (Painter from BARBADOS- Caribbean), and along with my brother Ras Ishi Butcher we spent 3months at the Bag-Factory Artist Residency Studio in Jo'Burg 2005, where we first met you, Kay Hassan, Bongi, Pat(who looked after us), David Kalone and several other amazing visionaries...... it's an experience that has remained indelibly etched in my memory ever since; thank you all for embracing and welcoming us into your world, and do continue to walk good my brother, much appreciated! 😇 PS: that iconic image of your rendering of the "Death Of Steve Biko" still lives in my memory's "EYE"...! THANK YOU

This has really made my day. Very moody and meandering -- with the high-low mood of each moment following the through-line in the jazz. So beautiful, as ever, Sam Nhlengethwa.

Great praise and admiration for this artist and her subjects, the heroic women of Iran who only want to get out from under the country's ridiculous and vicious theocracy which, like all "holy" patriarchs, is terrified and full of hatred of women living freely. These so-called men cannot control themselves, so they make women cover up? This garbage belongs to the Dark Ages and that is where it is going.

I am inspired by the use of materials and found objects repurposed as sculpture. This is wonderfully composed and thoughtful use of colors and graphic dimension.
