@sergiogfelix2 ай бұрын
Comfortable is different for everybody. However, as a freelancer it will depend on your experience, you could start charging about $1k/month per client to over $3k/month A PMS should aim to make at least $5k/month but of course the sky is the limit if you decide to grow to an agency

You don’t need to be a graphic designer to be a paid media specialist. It’s better if you study what makes a good ad, you can work with a graphic designer and give them creative direction. Usually paid media specialists will work with a team and they will have an in house graphic designer

What are some top questions to ask someone in this field to determine if they have the skills needed ?
@sergiogfelix6 ай бұрын
There are multiple, but i'll give 3 important ones. What paid media platforms are you most experienced with, and can you provide examples of campaigns you've managed on these platforms? [This tells you if they have experience with Meta, Google, or other platforms. As well as what type of businesses they've ran ads to get an idea of what they have worked with and paid media challenges they've encountered] How do you approach developing a paid media strategy for a new market or product? [You want to understand how strategic they are and how they will develop a strategy for a new product, which can be challenging] How do you measure the success of your campaigns, and what metrics do you prioritize? [This is important for a media buyer to know when to scale ads or what makes a successful campaign, which is crucial for a media buyer.]

@sergiogfelix Жыл бұрын
Well in my experience I started dropshipping, but I would not recommend that to everybody, it's very challenging and requires money to start. Another way I gained experience was through acadium.com/ It's like an internship in a way, essentially you work for free in exchange for marketing help for a business. Businesses on Arcadium understand that you are a beginner. But it would be a win-win situation. You gain experience and the business gets marketing help

and please bro sugest me a best roadmap for paid media specialist what should i learn first ...and what should i learn after that
@sergiogfelix2 жыл бұрын
There are some companies that can afford to hire someone to just do one speciality. Whether it be Facebook, Google, or even Amazon ads. This can sound awesome for some people, they only have to specialize and worry about one platform. Personally I think it will limit you because the majority of your experience will be in one speciality and will probably get boring. As for the roadmap bro, I can't really tell you what to learn first. It's going to be based on what you think you like or know you like. So, first I would recommend to get a general idea of the digital marketing landscape if you don't know already. When I first started I took a class going over the basics of marketing, SEO, Google, Facebook, data analytics, email marketing, etc. Then I started a ecom business doing Facebook ads and enjoyed running ads. Every body is going to have a different road map, but you are going to have to figure it out. Most important thing is to learn as much as possible and apply what you are learning to start getting results/confidence.

@@LaraSen-yt4bl Thats great to hear that you are learning and getting certifications, as well as interning, however, I think it is too soon to think of a management position. @sergiogfelix2 жыл бұрын
Catalog sales do not have to be just at the BOF, it can be for TOF just for prospecting, if you have a lot of data on the account, it could be a good idea to try broad dynamic catalog sales. It's something good to test out and see if Facebook can find the right cold audience.

For How long will you run these top of the funnel campaigns and when will you move to middle or bottom
@sergiogfelix3 жыл бұрын
That depends, I will always have a top-of-the-funnel campaign running, but I might shut it off if it's not performing well, or I might test different audiences, creatives, copy, etc. Middle of the funnel I usually have it for re-engagement. So anybody that has been to the website or engaged with an ad in the past 30 days. I will sometimes have past 180 days, but I will test that. The bottom of the funnel is mainly remarketing, so anybody that has viewed a specific product page or added to the cart. What really matters are the ad creatives. For example, the bottom of the funnel could have an ad of someone using the product and giving a review. Any user-generated content is great.

Awesome content, Sergio! I have 2 quick questions: 1) what was the objective for the Prospecting campaign Was it “Conversions”? 2) If yes, did you have the existing 50 conversions per week or you just set it up (in the beginning when u had no conversions) and u let it run in “Learning mode” until it got the 50 conversions and it started to work better then? Thanks a lot and keep up with this quality content!
@sergiogfelix3 жыл бұрын
@@patrikbindea2298 Sure. 1) It was conversions specifically for purchases 2) Good question. Although Facebook requires you to get 50 conversions a week to get out of the learning phase and have the campaign optimize to the best of its ability, you don't necessarily need to always get out of learning mode. For example, this prospecting campaign has a 10x ROAS but is still in learning limited. It really depends on the brand and their products. The client I shared in the video has an average order value of $450 so just a few purchases can get them profitable. So trying to get 50 conversions (purchases) a week would be almost impossible
