Im sorry Im still novice. If you got a magazine tube extension. Why would it only give the look. I thought they extended +1 or +2 if you add one. Im confused by what you said. 0:48

That is not the reason SWAT wanted a tactical revolver. The problem is when a shield holder holds the pistol AGAINST the edge of the shield and causes friction on the slide which can prevent a semi-auto pistol from fully cycling. You do NOT hold a pistol with your hand holding the gun out in front of the shield.

i purchased a gg&g bolt release and after installing i noticed that it only drops the bolt if i press down on the left half of the pad. (the side closest to the handgaurd). i was under the impression the bolt would drop regardless of where you press on the pad. is that normal? is yours the same way?

you are correct to have rounded off the edges of the firing pin plunger safety. using your video I took apart my performance center MNP. to see what's going on inside and give it a deep cleaning. at the factory, they rounded it off to the point that half the flat surface remains. it's not a dome shape but pretty close. thank you for the video. It helped me through all steps of the process.

CSAAA has inked a deal to create pricing and inventory data for the first faze of the liberal gun confiscation plan. They are trators to the community. I am boycotting any brand and business involved with the CSAAA going forward.

14:26 I’ll be trying out the striker block mod you did here with the grinding stone on my 2.0 compact. With the M&P flat trigger it has this weird bounce on the reset. I tried my performance center slide which has a more rounded striker block and it has a way smoother reset.

The bolt release stock spring is fine for me. I just put a metal pad over it because the button is too small. The tube extender looks tacky. It looks better if you just replaced the entire tube instead of just adding an extender.

was it worth it? I'm think about getting this or the S&W 627 V comp
@rjzavala87
@rjzavala87 Жыл бұрын
@@BlueForte i think it is, for sure. I will say this though. Make sure to take it to the range before you entrust it as a nightstand gun or something youll definitely reach for if (God forbid) the time comes. I was having light primer strikes but all it took was tightening that tension screw that sits at the bottom of the handle just a tad and i havent had any problems since. I dont know anything about the 627 but it looks like a beautiful piece as well. The r8 just seemed like a more practical gun for self defense situations based on my preferences. Its definitely lighter and a tad bit more compact. If youre looking for a sportier, recreational target shooting piece, than go with the 627. Im pretty sure youll fall in love with either one regardless of its intended use tbh. If you do get the r8, make sure you slap hogue piranha g10 grips on it. Makes a world of difference.

Great video! Do you have any info on taking material off of the sear to lighten the trigger pull? I've heard of folks filing or machine certain areas of the sear beyond just polishing it to lighten up the trigger pull. I have two MA compliant M&P's and am trying to get the trigger pull weight down. So far I've been able to get the weight down to 7.5lbs and 9.5lbs on each, but that's still too heavy (started at 10 and 12.5lbs), but haven't touch the sear yet.
@BattleBeaver
@BattleBeaver 2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I don't. I typically don't screw around with the sear, it's delicate job. I purchased a drop-in trigger from ApexTactical (www.apextactical.com/smith-wesson/pistols/triggers-trigger-kits) for my M&P 2.0.
