Totally understandable how it'd be a mix of emotions to leave your other job. And as you said, hopefully it'll allow you to devote more time to other things you wanna do! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Sufi Tarot. I don't have it, but I can see how it'd have a more contemplative vibe. Your kind words for 3G1B is very much appreciated! I recommend the Coleman Banks Rumi book or if you’d prefer a faster read I’d recommend the Rumi Revealed by Rassouli. I love the Sufi Tarot. I agree that it is very loving. 🥰 Perhaps because of the Sufism. I keep it with my Angel decks because it gives off that same loving kind energy. Hope you have a beautiful journey with it. 😊 I am very excited about that full 78 card Mindscapes Tarot and also the Backpocket Oracle 😍

What a fascinating conversation! 😯 What you mentioned about a star rating being a header to a review was particularly interesting. I feel like people will go to the star rating first (like a header, as you say), not realizing that it's technically a conclusion to the review. "This book has x, y, and z. 4 stars!" I think that's why the Tier system have become so popularized, especially on KZbin. Giving a tier, especially a custom one, peaks folks' interest and invites further explanation on why it received that rank. It's like, "This book is S-Tier and here's why!" This is such Meta discourse. I 🖤 it. 😆
@aquamarine18

Ooh! 💜 What is this tier thing, I must find out! I am going to see what I can learn about this.
@ScholarBot
@ScholarBot 17 күн бұрын
@@aquamarine18 There's a whole bunch of KZbinrs who make tier lists based off any topic you can think of, ranking specific types of food to films within a certain genre. It, kind of, replaced top 10 videos in popularity. It's based off the Japanese ranking system, which goes S-tier for best, then, A, B, C, D, and E for worst. Tiers can also be custom-made with the Tier Maker website--the main site that everyone uses in their videos. I've used it in my day job as a fun icebreaker during spooky season, where we've ranked candy bars. 🥴🍫

💜 You know... they are and they aren't. It can be a lot to film, but in other ways it's not a lot of energy because I just film things I'm doing anyway, so it's really less planning than even a basic tag. I just need to make a point of actually filming. It is easiest for me if I do that in clips and put it all together afterward but I not-so-secretly loathe video editing -- I find it tedious -- so that does challenge me. I feel like I've recently gotten decks that really lend themselves to deep dives though, and also want to do some sharing of older decks. I think Great Lakes will be up next!
