I really want a 9800x3d to pair with my 5080 whenever I can actually get my hands on one, but don't really want to spend the money. I'd get the 7800x3d but I just feel so weird buying a 2 year old CPU. My PC's have to last me 5-6 years before I upgrade again so feels weird in 5 years I'll have a 7 year old CPU

The GPU and especially the CPU are too much hot. With those high temperatures, you aren't getting the best performances out of this system and in long terms, it will not be healthy for your rig. Hope you don't get this as a criticism because it's just a suggestion, since I have the same rig, except I got a Deepcool Assassin III Air Cooler and a C.M. 690 III case and the GPU never exceed 67 degrees, while the CPU never exceed 76 degrees.

Dude your 9800x3d chip runs hot in games. Your in the 90C in Cyberpunk and Horizon. The other games you were in the high 70s low 80s. My chip on all games runs at 53c all the time. I would assume your 360 rad you have linked in the description would work. Are you running it at max pump and fan speed because I am. I have a corsiar 360 titan rad. What helped me is getting some PTM 7950 phase change thermal pad for my CPU and GPU. Take care and thanks for the benchmark comparison.

Can you stop making cyberpunk clips in the middle of the desert looking at the sky? Of course your FPS will skyrocket. It's not a really accurate demonstration of the potential of these components. I have looked at 4 of your videos with this exact setup and every single one is in the desert. Please make one in city where things is are demanding.

One thing to consider is that the 9900X seems to have better frametimes (smoother operation), and as a side effect, its 0.1% and 1% lows are very close, and averages across these are usually even higher than the 9800X3D. Just another perspective to consider!

I want to know if it’s better to get a rtx 4070 súper with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d or a 4070 ti super with a Ryzen 7 9700x. I’m trying to build a pc and both alternatives go for the same price in my country

Always get a better GPU than CPU! Just make sure your CPU doesn't bottleneck your GPU. An example you can even pair a I5 13600KF with a 4090 with no bottle necks. In your case I would get a 7600X3D with a 4070 TI SUPER or a 7900XT. If possible you can try to get the 7900XTX since the cheapest price for one new is around 830 dollars. Update: Right now there is a GPU shortage and a bunch of scalpers bought most of these GPUs. I would hurry to find something quick before a scalper does.
