I'm using 27.5" wheels because it provides a lower ride, which suits the type of terrain we have. To prevent pedal strikes with this setup on a 29" frame, consider using 170mm or shorter cranks, timing pedal strokes, adjusting suspension, and improving your riding technique.

@@RgezMTB thanks for the answer, i am currently using 29x2.4 and 170mm cranks, dont have any pedal strike problems, but i am interested in putting 275 rear wheel but wast sure how it would reflect on bb height 😁

For awesome modulation and smooth braking, the Magura MT Trail brakes are a top pick, especially if you upgrade the pads. But if you want raw power and reliability on a budget, stick with the Shimano 4-pots. I have Shimano 4-pots on my other bikes too, and they’re solid.

This is one of amazing bike I had, very good all rounder, climbs well and definitely awesome downhill. Well balanced geometry. Can take any trails, even used this as my rock garden bike.
