Fast forward 27 years into 2025, the person who should actually be sorry for their actions is that woman who taped the conversations. She did no good by doing this, it only stained the U.S presidential office, which before this scandal had a great history. People come and go, what remains is the mark they leave for the generations to follow as an example and the takeaway lesson from this story is: never break someone's trust, and always consider the impact of your actions in years to come. Clinton could have been privately informed about the tapes, and asked to step down while Lewinsky too could have been given some sort of penalty in private. We all have our secrets, and just because we are lucky not to have them leaked doesn't make us saints. Kudos to Monica for facing this so far, so bravely, and much power to her for the many years ahead.
