Not a big fan of this show, but it's usually always on when i visit my parents house. This whole ordeal made me laugh so hard when I saw it. I was hoping the guy would win after the onion jam comment. So ridiculous that the judge doesnt want a common ingredient like that in the dishes.

Last night on 24 in 24 Last Chef Standing finale Scott apparently still has issues with onions. He told the chef that the onions were a bit aggressive. Then Scott must be an onion because he is 'aggressive.' Someone please get the Hook and yank him off permanently.

Y'all aren't seeing the point here. After he told him in the first round to stay away from the red onion, he used it anyway in the 2nd round. Also, the female Hispanic chef also used raw red onion with her lentils dish. So he let both of them have it. The judges aren't only judges, they are a version of a guest. And if I'm a guest in a restaurant and dont like something, guess what? The customer is always right.

A lot of people are hating on Scott over his criticism of the raw onion. I love chopped. Scott is not one of my favorite judges, I’ll admit, but he is a judge. You come on to a cooking competition, and the judge offers you a free advice to please him you follow it. This guy ignored the offered advice and displeased the judge. The contestant came off as arrogant, not sticking up for himself. Raw red onion is a powerful flavor; it can easily over power a dish. This guy didn’t listen, and in the end it cost him, he was chopped. (And deserved it)

If you’re going to judge food you should like everything. Just because you don’t like raw onions doesn’t mean everyone else tasting his food doesn’t like the taste of them. Get a new judge who isn’t a little cry baby.
