Zeer slecht gedaan.

@raslloyd59593 жыл бұрын

You mean the work with the two men in front of closed doors? This is by Vasili Vasiljevitsj Vereshchagin, it is called The Doors of Timur and is in the collection of the National Tretjakov Museum in Moscow.

is this song 5/4 or 10/8?
@HetGroningerMuseum7 жыл бұрын
Maybe Basia Bulat knows the answer!
@littlecarrotsmusic6 жыл бұрын
I'm not entirely sure, but I think it has both 4/4 and 5/4 sections. The bridge and the chorus seem to be in 5/4, while verses are on 4/4. Still, the guitar picking, specially at the start of the song, is a bit confusing.
@22ddo2 жыл бұрын
I know a lot of musicians who insist on there being a basis for saying '10/8' (i.e., pulse is 8th notes and there's 10 to the phrase) but I personally prefer to always reduce the fraction and think of the rhythm as a two bar rhythmic motif with the phrasing across the barline. This just makes more sense to me - for example, we don't say it's 8/8 when it's a two bar phrase across a barline, it's just 4/4. Further semantics, we could think of it as alternating bars of 3/4 and 2/4 with the 3/4 phrased as two dotted quarter note pulses followed by the 2/4 bar with two quarter note pulses. Again, I think it's just easiest to say it's 5/4. Remarkable musicianship by Basia, I'm in awe of her talent.
