Prine was old, when he passed, but I still think he would've had so much more to say if he had lived longer. Your cover does credit to his memory.

Found this Folk Circle performance for Sam Amidon- left finding Justin only to find out he is Bon Iver!!! Also discovered John Prine and Damien Rice and other performers. This one hits hard though- Sam seamlessly guides Justin between the 2 verses with that fiddle solo giving that beautiful color. Gives me goosebumps and I choke up everytime he finishes that "Stood up and laughed, thought it was a joke"

Funny reminds me of my son but mentions my daughter's name. Did I mention how awesome this song is. OMG!!!

Picture this.... Spotify suggested these guys to me based off my listening pattern. Well where have they been my whole life. This song captivated me. My birthday rolls around and this song came on when my boyfriend of a year shows up leaning against my door with flowers in his newsboy cap my heart fluttered, I wanted to be with this man forever. This song will always remind me of what we had together after a crazy year of pandemic. He broke up with me a couple days before New Years. His mental health declined so low. This song is forever on my heart. These guys have taken me to a place where love exists and music and passion are a thing. Wishing you all love and peace in your hearts 💖
