We brought in good players from winning programs. 1. Size 2. Height 3. Speed 4. Not afraid to face a challenging situation! 6. Many can play either side of the ball. As a staff went first after High Players for most of the recruits. The reason this was the option was that most teams go after NIL, etc and we went very early for players. We are differently going in the right direction!

I have too much pride in my school winning bowl games and being in the MAC CHAMPIONSHIP Football game a few years ago, to being 1-23 under Burns, which his only win was FCS team, and were on a 21 game losing streak, which will be a 24 game losing streak in 2025 after who we start the season with.

what have we to look forward to-it is dismal-Kent State football has never been lower- but who wants this job- graveyard of coaching jobs-It can be done-LEWIS-but they will not stay

Being realistic, they're going to keep him one more year, and he might win a couple games next year before getting fired. He's likely to end up with a record of 4 - 32. Pathetic

Burns sounds confident. He must have the administration behind him. Do they just not care about the fans or how we look as the laughingstock of college football. Do they think we're so stupid we'll believe that progress is just around the corner when we've seen none all year?

How is Burns still the coach. The team looks lost and much worse than last year, which was supposed to be Year 0. This, along with Burns' legal problems and I'm amazed he hasn't been fired. Going into the Akron Game: Burns has not won a game vs a FBS School and also gets 5K- 10K if he wins. If we lose.... fire him ASAP. I MISS Lewis and Hazzell

If the AD DIDNT give Burns an extentiob after going 1-11 (pathetic) he'd be fired after the 2024. However with the extra year, Burns won't be fired until the end of the 2025 season at the earliest. I'm seeing a 1-11 2023, a 1-11, 2024, and a 3-9, 2024 before we finally move on. I miss Sean Lewis and the FlashFAST Offense so much 😢

Rome wasnt built in one day. It will take time for this rebuild. Burns is doing a great job despite the record. I think he may have to release some coaches this off season.

My KSU theory. Recruit local (suburban, federal, parochial, etc.) schools. Great talent there. Lock down some of the walk on that show promise when our top-tier players leave through portal. Get healthy. Start making those local connections and get the area excited to watch team. Connect with coaches through some clinics, promotions, visits. Build relationships with all players and coaches and community. People want to support someone, and a program, they can connect with. Examine the models right here in Ohio (OSU, Mount, Tressel, keheres, Kyle, etc). Go Flashes! #KentGRIT

I've been watching this team since I was a kid growing up in Kent. I have seen some really bad teams over the years, but at no point were we get blown out by MAC opponents week in and week out. Even in the 90s when we had 1-2 win seasons and even a 0 win season we were never getting blown out like this. What a sad state this program is in. Shame on the AD and Kent State administration. Kenni has to go too obviously.
