As a PSU fan it was tragic to see the Kent State QB get injured and leaving so early. This Kent State HC is eloquent and they have the spirit to kick some ass going forward for the rest of the year 👍🏽

I get that Kent St got $1.35 million to play the Vols. Our coaching is the worst I’ve seen in 30 years. Example, what the hell kind of lineup were they in on kick return? Tennessee was up 30 and kicked an onside kick in a hole of the front wall of 4 Kent St players. I’ve never seen that ever and they didn’t adjust. Glad you got the money Kent, problem is we are the joke of college football and our coaches are the punchline. They should have hung 100 points on us. Sorry Coach Burns, you are a terrible headcoach. Totally embarrassing!!!

Were rated rhe WORSE FBS school 2 years in a row. This is NOT what Kent State is about. Our basketball team runs the MAC. Darrell Hazell and Sean Lewis had us going to bowl games and MAC championship. I refuse to allow our program to be this bad. I 100% believe many D2 schools could beat us under Burns

Kent State has played Alabama at their peek of their powers and did okay, played Georgia when they were ranked #1 and we were holding our own all gane until the final moments... NiU just beat #5 Notre Dame, Toledo just beat SEC Miss State... and we nearly guve up 100 points. Idk what is worse, us giving up nearly 100 to Tennessee or that Burns lost to a freaking FCS school the week before.

Burns needs to be fired ASAP. I'm sick and tired of our program being built up, only for the next coach to brun everything down. This was the most pathetic loss I've seen and I've been a KSU fan and grad for a very long time. The Tennessee broadcast was talking about will they score 100 on us... at the end of the 1st half.

Being from Illinois I have noticed that an abnormal amount of Illinois top rated players are naming Kent state in there top 5. I wondered why. And now I see. This guy seems like he can recruit. When MACteams get really good. It's usually because that team starts to steal home state kids from the surrounding B1G schools. Kent is gonna get trampled by Tennessee but ihope this guy succeeds long term.
