Fun episode guys. These UST shafts are so intriguing. Reading the feedback on the forum and now hearing about them here make them sound so interesting.

Great episode. Loved the talk about the LINQ prototype shaft.

Would I buy after THP testimonials? Yes. Would I buy knowing nothing about the shaft at all? Probably not. Shafts are such a crapshoot a lot of the time anyways, what could/should work sometimes doesn't. Trusting that the Proto shaft would be something that I should try, is an easier thing to digest when THPers give such praise. Sometimes weird stuff works amazing (Altitudes a perfect example).

has anyone tried boiling a few inches of water and dipping the adapter into it for a minute or two to remove the adapter?
@THPGOLF8 күн бұрын
You will need more heat or pressure to remove. Leaving it in there too long will break down the resin and ruin the shaft.

How do you ensure the club face is square when different clubs have different amounts of offset?
@sm00v0013 күн бұрын
you should play with cleveland smart sole wedges you're not good enough ..

Isn't the stiffness and the torque two different things? You stated it's extra stiff so the torque of 3.1 is spot on. I was taught Shaft Stiffness and Shaft Torque are two different things.

Not a fan of this one... not easy to line a straight put up when you have lines going sideways on the putter.
@jsh_golf11 күн бұрын
Actually it makes easier to see if your putter is squared up or not.

The hardest thing to do when installing this type of grip is making sure to position the alignment with the relationship of the club face. You did none of that!

Buying the EXS driver today (Yes today - over 5 years from initial launch date) because it is available at an incrementally discounted price of $ 251 at my local pro shop. Feel like I am not good enough at my stage (1.5 yrs in, 18 hcp) to have an expensive driver. Looked through some reviews - really impressed & this interview of Mr Glod impressed me more. Think I am becoming a TE fan. At least a follower. Wingman wedges - here I come…

The holy grail is to find a good fitter. Like finding a needle in haystack and a hefty wallet. Your better off buying several shafts and testing them on your own. Prob amounts to the same price point.
