Salom's Lot is the best. It was not Teacher....it was "Look at me....Look at me teacher." That look at me statement was perfect as that is the words of hypnotism of a Vampire. I never tire of that scene. Perfect pure evil scary stuff. The creaky rocking chair and the eyes. The rolling head like he had a broken spine. Just the best.

I was born in 1969 so I was a child when I saw Salems lot I think I saw around six or seven years old but I remember it vividly. And it was by far the most horrifying picture I have ever seen from then even till now. It's because they knew how to make horror films Batman Friday the 13th movies I saw when I was a teenager or slasher films and yet although terrifying to some degree did not match the likes of Salems lot or even phantasm

I love it that he's a Salem's lot fan like me 👍 I saw it when I was 7 years old on 1979 and it's still my favorite horror film to this day!!! I'll never forget watching it for the first time! We were in the middle of nowhere in WV visiting relatives, staying in a single wide trailer on 10 acres of nothing but the woods. I was terrified to go to sleep alone that night so luckily my parents had me sleep in the living room with my brothers but still was scared lol. Salem's lot will forever be my favorite TV movie!!!

It is the best vampire movie ever. If a remake does happen it will never ever beat the original, you are supposed to remake rubbish movies with good stories [end of]. An only way to make an equally if not better version of salems lot would be to copy the original perfectly as in Barlow looking exactly the same, same events happen except - there is added horror and gore to the scenes from where they usually stop to leave to the imagination. That is the only way to make an equally if not better version, PLUS NO CGI!!!!

I like Salam’s Lot, and the Vampire is similar to the first Vampire movie ever made - Nosferatu As for great Vampire movies - Let the right one in (is probably my favourite) Only Lovers left Alive (also a good one) Bram Stokers is not bad. Robert Eggers remake of Nosferatu, now that I’m looking forward too.

What the hell is he letting his 5 - year - old daughter watch Salem's lot for ? I know it's no Exorcist but what apparently normal adult allows a little 5 - year - old to watch Tobe Hooper's Salem's Lot ? No wonder the kid ran into a wall... Probably out of sheer fright and terror .

Surfing with innuendo, on waves of obfuscation, tightroping near next to nothing, @ the mercy of codebreakers enforcerers ...and succeeding in it. Mission accomplished ! A gem color noir - the odd subgenre. Rebellious sultryness - the only prefeministic mental attire allowed 4 the s3x-kittens of the eisenhoweresque 50s : naughty gals must be locked up if not knocked up ! Societal gain - the only allowed pain ... F.Hirsch is a topnotch fn authority, but even better job was done by MAX ALLAN COLLINS who overdubbed the highly professorial analysis on the 1st ws dvd 0 region release of the film in question, simple incredible level of expertise perfectly formulated.
