Thank you very much! Tiamat is really good band, kinda like Paradise Lost - they can do pretty weird stuff at some points, yet still sound really good. Clouds is probably my favourite - or Wildhoney.

Whoa, I didn't even remember doing this on video. Now that you dropped a line, I do remember this one. It was quite fun to play on drums and guitar - however I suck at keyboards so those are quite low in the mix. Thank you for watching my video! :)

Another song/band i never heard but it sounds cool for sure. Awesome playing and great mix again. I love the drum sound. Especially the snare. Kick sounds sweet too. And the guitars are nice n crunchy. Thick as f@ck.

Sir! Thank you, Sir! Not my favourite songs from their catalog, but had the CD in my car last week. This song sounded quite catchy when driving back home from rehearsal and I kinda learnt it without playing it. Fun stuff to play, would sound much better with vocals tho..
@bloodpool29 күн бұрын
@@j-venom616 Is that a hint that you want me to try vocals on it? lol I just checked out the original. Singing sounds easy for the most part. There's those higher more powerful lines that i dunno if i could do though. Could just turn it into a death metal thing and growl over it instead too. What do you think?

@@j-venom616 As for me, Paradise Lost has always been somewhere around. I keep forgetting and rediscovering them, surprised again and again, how fucking good they are.

Yeah, so true! Host and Symbol Of Life are the only albums I didn't like in the past. After those they kinda returned to what they used to be. Still don't listen Host that often and still too much I listen the old stuff, but later albums have been really damn good - I like that they started using 7 string guitars few records ago.. Playing those in D tuning fits to Nick's voice perfectly!

Didn't record piano/synth/timpani stuff for video - though the timpani's should be here "live" as all guitar, bass and drums were recorded... Dunno, too late now. 🤔 -Also I f**k'd up the last notes on lead guitar - sounded OK on mix, so I kept and used the take. On drums there might be some stuff different on tabs vs. what I play. Deal with it. 😁
It would be great if you could record Ghost Paradis in your own way❤

Thank you very much for your kind words! I think I played few first bars like it is on record - or half of that Chuck's solo - the rest is pretty much just improvised whammy bar things - similar to what Rick did on the record. I haven't done any tabs for it, but I recommend you to check out Ultimate Guitar website - there's a ton of tabs - and I have contributed several tabs there too.

@j-venom6164 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! Masquerade In Blood indeed is very underrated record in Sodom discography, but I think there's lots of great tracks in there, including this one. Unfortunately I haven't got tabs for this tune, I learn pretty much everything by ear and I do play a lot of stuff so I don't have time to tab out everything. The song is fairly easy on guitar though - I had more trouble learning it on drums. :)
@sabaton_k1priados4 ай бұрын
@@j-venom616 эх немного досадно конечно что нет табов у тебя. Но есть твое видео , через него можно попытаться как то сыграть - и в большей степени мне нужны были табы бас гитары . Благодарю за ответ , вполне информативно! Have fun learning the tune, it is really fun to play! Easiest way to get it is to tune guitar to same tuning (C standard) with the record and play along with it to get all the nuances. Writing tabs of riffs isn't a big effort for me so I want to help folks the best I can to learn their favourite songs. However transcribing whole tune on all instruments is then again very time consuming - I am happy if I could help you learning songs you want to play.
