the dora 1 card combo could have searched field with paidra instead of searching kaimen, then field search chundra and discard 1, that way u can pop the field spell with trident for more dmg (and also get the field protection while building transcendent b4 the battle phase)

I’m considering getting back into the game and had my eye on this deck but I’m sure it’s gonna get hit hard on the ban list. Would this deck still be a good idea if it does get hit, to my understanding it was hit in OCG.

If the TCG version gets a similar hit, it's still playable, especially after adding cards from ROTA like Mulcharmy Fuwaross and Dominus Impulse. If the hit is on Chundra or Paidra, then it's harder to play

It's basically a standard Hero build with a Fiendsmith engine slotted in. Knowing how he builds, it's probably a 45 card variant

Lets say in the TCG that summoning gets limited to one. Can the TCG exclusive meta universe field spell replace the two slots? As it can recycle the field spell and help protect it from destruction?

It's something worth experimenting on, and maybe Pseudo Space. Keeping Paidra to 3 is also a better option since you want to see the field more

You need a tuner + non-tuner, and both have to be the same level. Tor Tenpai, it's Bident Dragon + Ancient Fairy Dragon

The Tzolkin and High Paladin combos are usually on OTK builds that want a going 1st option. D-Link and Kash builds are designed to go 1st!

You still need to bait dimensional barrier on main phase, otherwise they just gonna flip it on battle phase

anti-magic arrows good side card.. always outs spoly in BP, can stop dbarrier too. if they know you have anti magic arrows and they shotgun the dbarrier in main phase you just use the link package to otk

Some builds use Gold Sarc + Blaster for the fire dragon search. But using the other effects of Blaster are too costly for what Tenpai needs. Also, all Tenpai Dragons are fire.

The regular hands give me 2-3 handtraps and then 1-2 starters and/or a breaker. 6th card helps reinforce the hand even more

Even without max C I think this deck might end up being better in TCG, if people keep playing a high handtrap count, main phase for this deck is battle phase to get a lot of its main value and veiler,droll, nibiru that everyone is playing 3 ofs which is 9 cards from the deck that tenpai will just avoid entirely because they only work in main phase and you won’t have to deal with maxx c

Zhongdora (orange) can bring out a Tenpai from deck, Sangen Kaimen allows you to summon Tenpais during the Battle Phase
