Brings back memories. I sang this in youth choir in 1980 at church.

Wow. Such a LOVELY rendition, folks!!! We lived in Lidingö in the late 60s for 3 yrs. Living in Sverige as a child was (and remains) an inspiration for me! Wanting to impart the joy & fun of the culture our parents exposed us to stays with me. I desire to share the folk & Xmas music to my adult children! Best to you, fellow 🙏🏼🎻Musicians~Artists🎇

This was such a blessing and a joy listening to pure voices in harmony. I wasn’t paying attention at first then I heard the aspiration of your Ts Ds and Ks and knew the singers were not Filipinos. We are amused when foreigners tackle our language! Great job, to God be the glory.

A secular song from the Baroque. This piece is mostly homophonic in texture. Repeated phrases are sang with a piano dynamic as an echo. The voices achieve crisp, clear articulations without rushing the moderate tempo.

Thank you for the lovely singing and interpretation of my arrangement of the late Andre Dionisio’s immortal Filipino hymn. The somewhat subito piano rendering of the final verse was special. Curiously, are you all members of the much acclaimed Stellenbosch University Choir under Andre van der Merwe?
@ArnoBarnard3 ай бұрын
Some of us are old SU choir members, not specifically under Andre, some old members from other choirs in the area.

So beautiful. A great harmony and live recording. The room would've had a magical feel when the lights dimmed. Good job.

He that hath a pleasant face, and will join in catch or glee He shall have a welcome place mid his goodly company He that hath a pleasant face and will join in catch or glee.. (he that hath a pleasant face..) and will join in catch or glee x3 Will join in (catch or glee) x3 He shall have a welcome place mid his goodly company!! If he cannot sing or play Why then pity of his heart! Not withstanding, let him stay, He shall do the listeners part! If he cannot play or sing! And he only comes to talk! Then that's quite another thing! He may take his heart and walk! May take his heart and walk! X3 He shall have no welcome place mid his goodly company!
