No musical act blended elements of rock, r&b, jazz and blues like Steely Dan did. Their music style caught music lovers off guard when they hit in the 70’s. I’ve never met one person that didn’t like at least some of their work. Mark 11:24

Even as a 15 year-old when I first got this album when it came out… I thought that drum solo was on another level. I kept putting the needle back on the record, thinking of myself. How did he do that?

When this album came out I was 17, and I played drums. After hearing Steve Gadd lay down the sickest solo ever on a pop record, I laid down my sticks. I never recovered.

I really like the outro and the guitar, but sorry the chord progression is too weird for me. It's like mixing mayo with chocolate.
