I’m interested in the REAL cost of the tour. Claims of touring Europe for a couple thousand only to find out that it costs $10,000 w/ all the extras

Yes the extras is where they get you. They can add up quite quickly. But I recommend a lot of them. I didn’t do everything but the things we did you would have to pay for even if you weren’t on the tour, such as boats, shows and classes
