Looks great! How did the brake lines hold up? I’ve had a TIP wear through a brake line before, did the rubber work?
@videonow326 күн бұрын
It had a tendency to slide, but yes it worked as long as I kept it in place. I have since replaced it with another turbo setup....thanks.

currently I have a broken hose on the bottom of the vac. canister and considering doing this delete. What is the benefits/downfalls or main reasons of doing these delete?

I also have this exact car, 03 225

No down fall that I can think of, but you will have some codes which will need to be programmed out. My car is now mainly for Autox so I did it to remove weight.

So i can just cut all the lines and plug them all? Or do i need some lines still?

hello i have a 2005 audi tt with the same BEA engine code as yours and am wondering what the PCV valve is for and where that line runs to and if its possible to delete it. The one you talk about at 1:42
@videonow323 ай бұрын
I have since deleted most of my PCV system, except for the hockey puck, including that valve and put in a Catch can.
@rektominus36373 ай бұрын
@@videonow32 Can you do a tutorial for installing a catch can on this car? The PCV system on the BEA motor has a completely diffrent layout compared to all the other engines.
@videonow323 ай бұрын
@@rektominus3637 Yes...the BEA is different. I put in a catch can on mine and just put it in between the valve cover and Hockey puck PCV valve. Really not much to it, I kept everything else. So valve cover to catch can inlet and catch can outlet to the hockey puck valve.

I've never seen a 500A FET switch for controlling DC motors. Where can I buy them
@videonow32 Жыл бұрын
Yes, anything that large would be custom made, normally. What most companies do is use several FETs in parallel, that way they can share the current. So if you use 5 100A FETs in parallel you essentially have 500A capacity.

I believe what you are calling the "V114 leak detection pump" is actually the EVAP canister purge valve N115. The leak detection pump (V144) is on the right side of the car under the front wheel arch. Have you looked under the right front wheel arch? It's another item to delete. (There are 2 EVAP purge valves, N80 next to the vacuum canister and N115 next to the charcoal canister).
@videonow32 Жыл бұрын
Thanks...you are correct, what I called the V114 is the N115, thanks for the correction. I will have to search for the other parts to remove them also....Just got a chance to remove that whole thing. Not sure yet if it sets a code, which it probably will. May have to defeat it with Maestro...thanks for the heads up !!

@shamshield2320 Жыл бұрын
Did you add a resistor to the leak detection pump connector or just leave it unplugged?
@videonow32 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, the leak detection pump is actually purge valve, N115, that I just left unplugged. I just found out from another viewer that the leak detection pump is up front under the wheel well on the passenger side. Not sure yet how to defeat it. Hope to correct and modify the video....just ran the car, no codes, but I had turned everything for the EVAP OFF. The LDP has three contacts, not sure how you would resistor it out. Two leads go to the pump.

sick video I love it! I have the same engine code and year. that little check valve comes off the brake booster system, seems like a bypass out a three-way valve that feeds of the manifold and feeds the brake booster. am guessing is a relief for when the pressure isn't needed, all the other engine codes the brake booster if fed off of the manifold directly without said relief system am doing a PCV, SAI, N259, N112 delete right now I want to simplify the hoses in the engine bay. am kind of wondering if it is needed or if I can hose directly to the brake booster with no problem...

Holy hell Batman!.. FANTASTIC "ROADMAP"! Your approach/layout here had the PERFECT amount of details, in just the right order, and progressed perfectly! I was just "browsing for ideas" initially... "Been trying to get my personal CAT-ss3500(Jungheinrich EJB-16) walkie-stacker workiin, on and off for nearly two years. I'm just a broke-a55, self-employed fabricator, with a "Craigslist-Special" "Budget Buy"! Because, previous owner couldn't afford to pay the dealer their extortion money for a new "MP-1510C" Motor-Control(On larger power-dist board). I have a built in Estrogen excreting limit-switch that begins drowning the "boys" at around 200lbs, often forcing me to rely on inertia and gravity (reverse/gas/brake), to delicately unload things from of my 1-wheel drive 4x4. So being that my A-typical testosterone-based dream, that every non-dancing boy has of "One day owning my very own skid-steer", crashed-and burned right before the 2nd grey-hair and long after I signed the papers to "never owning a beach-house" as I walked out of that "place" that gave me fairly good money in exchange for grey-hairs, 180/130+ BP, and an endless supply of backdoor socket-tenderizer, I figured it'd be worth the effort... Therefore, the "Well 5hit, I can replace all the caps,resistors, transistors, and the IC's on the board/s, all while cleaning up and re-running any corroded traces while working my way through!" "It's not like I don't have Weller SMD tools from the days when I had money to go to the bar with friends but decided to always buy tools instead"!... So, CONSIDERING all SMD components were less than $100(more or less)... "This will be as close to "Skid-steer" as I'm likely ever going to get at this point."... HOWEVER, what I didn't account for was the Hyper-propriety non-sense that would defy my collection of ECM-EDITING SOFTWARE AND Japanese Flash-Programmers, IF in the event I should need to flash/clear any existing error-codes.... SURPRISE!... Began the adventure with "E-001", "C-116", and one other that I believe was a "E-024 and/or 39" Error-Codes on the LCD, and after replacing all the board-components that tested bad/poorly, and finding two eroded copper traces+repairing them, I have arrived at this beautiful non-tropical destination with; " 'E-001' and 'C-116' error-codes on the LCD" that occasionally morph into little middle-fingers after staring at it to long!... IF you have any thoughts that may alleviate this odd burning sensation between my ankles and ears, Let me know... If not, or if even if my spelling, punctuation, and/or unnecessary dry-sarcasm has convinced you to run the other way... No worries! I was thinking about making it a flower-pot anyways at this point! Regardless, Thanks for the video AND FOR reading all this!, Bryan.
