Nice job. How about an update? Has the truck conversion been successful and is there anything you would do differently? I'm in Ohio and looking do my own conversion.

This is my Dream. Wet dream at that 😉 I've seriously considered Magnuson supercharger for my 3rd gen TRD off road but I just can't seem to justify $10,000 for barely a 30% increase in power. I mean the truck's not slow but it's definitely not quick😅

What about a second GEN double cab 4 x 2 can you do a conversion on that one and estimated how? How much would it be to get something like that done? What would be the range and towing range?

every tesla truck ive seen people make looks better than the cyber truck. all the conversions and that one lady that cut a bed and made a baja/thing. they bit off way more than they could chew with the cyber. just make a little truck...

The axle length is perfect from a M3 to a Taco! Did you have to fab up a de-dion axle? Would love to see more detail on how you mated the M3 complete subframe to the truck. Im sitting on the same motor and TC3, EV West is saying I need to buy their $2k de-dion axle for this exact swap. Oh and thank you for your service brother.

Hello brother. I am wondering what kind of gas mileage you are getting? Going to use it in remote landscapes, need to know if swapping to LS3 is a stupid idea 😂 Thank you
@azspeedster54653 ай бұрын
@@aaa84gt I never really measured the difference in gas mileage since I built the truck more for performance on the highway. I will say that with the upgrade in power and the light weight of the truck, the truck moves along with ease and I am not at a gas station very often. I am not using the stock fuel tank. I have a 15 gallon fuel tank from Tanks Inc. between the rear frame rails where the spare used to be. I hope this answers your question. Take care.

@@azspeedster5465 Thank you so much, appreciate it a lot! I didn't even know there was a possibility to swap to a bigger fuel tank, that's amazing, an option I will check out for sure. Thank you!
@azspeedster54653 ай бұрын
@@aaa84gt Yes, you can fit a larger fuel tank in your truck. I did the fuel tank swap for 3 reasons. I did not want the fuel tank in the original location. I needed room for my dual exhaust system. I wanted a larger fuel tank for travel distance and also the 5.3 is fuel injected and I wanted to run a in tank electric fuel pump for adequate EFI fuel pressure and to keep the fuel pump cool during operation. Good luck with your project.

@kasebuttram9542Ай бұрын
I would probably say so as long as you keep your foot out of it lol. Especially since a 6,000 pound 6.2l Chevy suburban with worse aerodynamics gets 20mph on the freeway. Makes sense that a 4,500 pound Tacoma would get in the mid 20’s if you keep it around 70 mph
